Embedded with Facts
Did you get any spam e-mails from me? Probably not. Let me know if you did, because I'm pretty sure my computer was NOT infected with a bot that sent out spam e-mails from my computer.

I do not think infacted is a word, other than a name of a company.

Tru - I also sell penicillin on the side if you think you are infected, not infacted.

LMAO. Nice to hear from you. Sorry to say, it was not me that put the cow in your yard.

But we want pictures! Lots of pictures!

Does she look anything like this one?

Have fun at the game today.

You just fixed that this spring. What, you only replaced one o-ring, not both sides?

Whatever you do, do not do what a friend of mine did. He lives about 1/4 mile away and just had a hydraulic lift installed in his garage.

He went and checked the fluid after he had used it a couple of times, and it was really low, so he added fluid. But he did it with the lift in the UP position.

When the lift came down, fluid squirted everywhere around the garage. It took him about 4 hours to clean everything up.

Warren,

I have never gotten any of those spam e-mails from you, but it seems that there was a rash of them some time ago from several ISPs. That was one reason I had to fight so much with Yahoo and finally CW got them to let the notifications from the club go through. In fact I did get a bunch of them but they were filtered into my Bulk folder which I got tired of opening to see what was in it so I set it to just delete anything that gets sent there. My e-mail program is one of the few things that Yahoo seems to do well. Takes a few seconds longer but it scans all attachments that I send before it will let me send them and also all that I get incoming and if I open an e-mail that has a virus, I get a pop up warning that it has the virus and it names the virus and will not let me open it any farther. Same for an e-mail with an attachment that has a virus. It will tell me the attachment has such and such virus and that it will not download or open it. Dumb people like me need that kind of protection and it is a lot easier than removing the virus.

Ron

Ron
I've got the same features as you, but I use Outlook Express that is loaded on my computer. I also have hardware and software based firewalls, McAfee Internet Suite with Zone Alarm that does a great job of protecting my computer from all the crazies out there in Internet-land.

I haven't had a virus on any of my computers for the last decade or so.

Speaking of computers, how is that old tank of a laptop computer with Win95 that I sent you? Do you still use it for anything? Its got to be better than collecting dust in my house!

That reminds me. I'm going to the islands for a vacation, so I got to boot up my laptop and update everything. I haven't used it in at least 7 months!

Warren,

I also use McAfee and have both hardware and software based firewalls. As for the old Win 95 laptop, I still play with it, but the hard drive is about ready to call it quits. Making grinding noises and getting failure to read errors at times. I also have to get my Dell laptop out and charge the batteries and let it update. I don't hardly ever use it and forget it for months at a time. As for viruses, I have been very fortunate as I have never had one on any of my computers but have spent a lot of time removing them from friends computers.

You're going on vacation again. Gee, you get a little rain and can't drive so you run off to the islands for a vacation. Well take the camera and post some pictures for us less fortunate ones that can't run away every time the weather doesn't suite us.

Ron

Tru,

Sorry that you almost cut off a finder today and that it hurts. Was it a front or rear one?

Run Warren Run!!!

Fred,

I just received an e-mail from Dave and he sent me some pictures he took of my old Cobra back in the Ozarks. He is having a great trip, so I guess it is time for you to break out the motorcycle and head up that way. Dave said he had only planned to spend a few minutes with that cousin but wound up spending two hours and he really enjoyed it and the country.

They will make Warren famous on the island.

Josh and I decided yesterday to make a run up to Arkansas next weekend !!!
We only have the two days because of school.
Looks like IKE really made some good weather changes
along with the bad he did.No rain up there !

We will go up the west side of Ar. on 71 to Mena,Spend the night there or maybe on top of the mountain at Queen Wilhelmina Lodge.
Ride The Talimena National Scenic Byway to Talimina,Ok.. Then down the east side of Oklahoma down to Texas and on home.

Looks like just 600 mile round trip. With all the switchback and curves it will take most of two days.

Going to be nice doing it with my son !

Fred,

Sounds good. To bad that you only have two days but you should see some great sights and have a lot of fun. And having your son along makes it even more special. Enjoy and watch out for the Red Necks that will want you to stop and have a beer with them every few miles.

Darn Joe, it sure is comforting to know that the Internet is the most secure means of communication. This one sounds good, better take him up on it.

At least this one didn't outright claim that he is honest and can be trusted to perform this illegal activity with integrity like the last one did.

Good Morning all you Millionaires.

Guess what? Its stopped raining. Only 4 days of constant rain.

Yesterday there was a sample of "Act Body Essence" in the Sunday paper. Remembering all of the great babes attacking guys in those commercials, I tried it this morning in the shower. Smells great. I even left the front door open. I'm still waiting for the girls to come by and have their way with me.

Still waiting .....

A finder! That thing attached to your hand that points when you want someone to look somewhere to find something.

Dang Ron, when your finger is messed up, you are bound to type wrong.
