Warren,

Just to see I changed my Avatar and it seems to work ok. Turtle is mad because you put him back out in the weather and he liked it in the basement.

Its just 3 one inch wood screws. No impaling ... Turtle actually enjoyed getting back into the fresh air. And with the elevation off the ground, he can see any Humpin Ho sister approaching and take corrective action as necessary (spitting, taking a whiz on them, etc). Wait a minute, that's probably why those frog demons chase turtle around the yard.

I saw a disgusting article in the paper yesterday. A high school biology class is no longer dissecting actual frogs. They are doing a virtual dissection on a computer. What a crock! Kill the froggies! The only good frog is a dead frog.

Beam me up Scottie ... time for my pills.

Wow, Great job on Turtle Warren. Boy does he look better than his pictures from last year, And at that height he should make a good snow gage as when you see him start to stick up out of the snow you will known it is melting some.

Most noted impaler was Dracula.

Once ate dinner in the middle of thousands of impaled heads.

That must have been romantic. Who did you take to dinner with you?

Warren, please note my new Avatar. If you want I will send it to you via e-mail to put into your gallery.

Good morning everyone. I think I'll go impale a fork in some breakfast. Then I have to go do something that Ron hates to do.

$120 for a lousy teeth cleaning. That's much worse than a two bit charge from the Ho sisters.

It is almost that much here Warren. I will find out in January as I have to go in then for my cleaning and check. But they do throw in a free toothbrush.

Fred
I just bought a detail sander that I used on turtle. Next time I need a teeth cleaning, I think I'll do it myself. Hell, all of my teeth are plastic (caps or bridges) so there is no enamel left to decay.

Of course, one of my 30 year old bridges has given up the ghost and one of the underlying teeth is decayed, so I need a root canal and post, with a brand new 3 tooth bridge. That should only be another couple grand before everything is done.

If I had started using Fred's services about 10 years ago, I could have saved enough money to buy another Cobra. Of course, my band-aid bill probably would have been at least $25K.

My brother in law turns 70 today. Have to go help him celebrate at a great restaurant in Taunton (Benjamin's) tonight. That place is on my top 10 list of worldwide restaurants. Everyone chipped in $$$ to buy him a Bose surround sound system for his 52 inch TV. Then he can fall asleep in his easy chair with great sounds coming from the TV.

I got a new toothbrush, small tube of Crest and a little pack of dental floss. Almost makes you feel like you got a bargain.

NOT

It was 36°F this morning when I got up. Its now all the way up to 43°F and they predict a frost on the pumpkins tonight. Damn, its getting cold in a hurry. Maybe I should move north to enjoy all of that global warming they are talking about. I haven't had a ride in four days. I'm getting a bad case of cabin fever. But at least the sun was out, so I could use my solar porch. Brought the temp downstairs from 63 to 70°F. It saves me at least a cup of heating oil.

I forgot about the small tube of Crest and the dental floss as they always put that with the 49¢ toothbrush. Sorry to hear about your having to have all of that work done. I told my dentist the last time that I was not going to have any bridges or expensive work done any more, to just pull the darn teeth. He hates to pull a tooth worse than anything. Every time I go in for my check it seems one of my old fillings has came loose. I think I only have one left from when I was in Korea now. Now you have me thinking about my appointment in January. Rats!!!
