I spotted a dead leaf on the ground a couple of days ago.
Does it count ?

I have added a few more pictures to the Shasta Lake Thread. In a couple of them you can see the size of the Sacramento River where it winds through the canyons. I believe this is only the second time since the lake was first filled you could see these things completely.

GMW
I see K is posting a little more here now. Welcome back
Nice and cool outside this morning. We are expecting about ten days of mid 70's.
Ron,
We put rain in your area on our prayer list. I can't hurt and you sure need it.

Steve,
You mean you slept through your Fall again. Fred, where is your picture of the leaf? Warren will never believe you had a Fall unless you prove it to him. I see he is already preparing for this Winters record snow and cold as he has resorted to posting last years pictures in the Fall Colors Thread. I heard he is having a long hydraulic extension ladder built into his house that exits through the roof so he can got on top of the snow this Winter.

Uh nooooooooo. Those are all this year. No reposting from me. Actually, the leaf color was better last year, but there still is some time left for good color in my area. Only if the weather would co-operate. Cloudy and 44°F today.
OK, back to my chores (sorry Ron, chores are not work)

There is a rectangular box surrounded by a blue border that says "Submit Reply". No pushy button ... no garbage sent to CC computa. Go pat the dog and take a nap. You will feel better.

Tru,
Your post was in the wrong Forum. I think the coming Winter has both you and Warren starting to lose your grip. Or maybe you hit the preview button instead. Gee, at least I am old and have a reason for forgetting where I post.

Was it Tru that said "A mind is a terrible thing to waste"? I'm having a senior moment and cannot remember. Or maybe its a brain-fart.

Hey, is this pick on Tru day? If so then we must start gathering some good material as he and Warren are both going to have a lot of time for reading soon.

Good catch Steve.
With some luck and enough time he might find a picture.

I have very few pics with that high resolution. But I did find a good one that is close to 1 meg that I sent.
I guess the "Thank God for Obama" infomercial is over. Had to go on the computer. If I had watched, I may have thrown a shoe thru the TV. Guess I'll watch the rest of the ballgame.

Mike,
It is ok to say the word WORK as Warren is starting to remember what it is now. He had better start practicing for the Winters snow removal if he can get out of his house to do so.
This is a close up of Mercury taken by our last probe. Maybe something like what Warren's area will look like once the snow melts in about 6 months.

I'm with you. No more work under Obama. Since I'm retired, I think it might be the best for me if I vote for Obama. My income level sucks, so maybe I can live it up spending Steve and Tru's taxes. One of the best parts of being retired is the tens of thousands of dollars not paid in taxes. Getting a refund without having any withholding sounds like a heck of a plan for us poor people.
Its 31°F outside. No more short sleeve shirts while working outside. Time for a sweater.
Just went on-line and told Sylvania that their light bulbs suck. Bought two 15 watt bulbs to use them as a night light downstairs. Do not want to trip on anything when going for a snack at 3 AM The first bulb lasted 4 weeks, and the second lasted 3 weeks. I signed the feedback form as "Ex-customer". I replaced it with a new compact fluorescent. Only draws 6 watts for 40W equivalent light output.
