Darn,
That is great. Maybe there is hope for us to see it get under $3 per gallon up here after all. I believe my cousin told me that he saw gas in Springfield, Missouri the other day for $1.45 per gallon but am not sure of that. He said the gas around where he lives is just under the $2 mark or just above it depending on which station you go to. Enjoy the rides. Snow and Winter are heading your way.

SNOW!!!
We have SNOW on the ground.
People drive like they never seen it before. Nice stopped freeway on the M5 to 275 connection. Lucky I get off just before.
NO one is at work this morning; must be the snow.

Tru,
You sound surprised. This is going to be a long and cold Winter back there if the forecasts I have seen are correct. Preferred method of travel will be skis if you can get out of your house. I think Warren is even putting away his golf clubs.

When he puts his car away, you know it is dead winter.

GMW,
It is just cold here with none of the rain we were supposed to get. I hope the wind doesn't start blowing. I feel really lousy this morning. Sinuses are bad and I just hurt all over. A word of warning to you kids. Don't get old!
Where is Steve, I haven't heard from or seen any posts from him in a while? I hope that he is just busy and not having any problems. Tru and Warren will take care of the Winter problems for all of Texas.

yea, I have just been very busy the last few days. Nothing wrong tat I know of anyway.
Everyday is a holiday!
We got some really heavy rain last night for several hours. I am not sure how much in inches but it was plenty.

It is really cold here now and sprinkling just a little. It is several degrees colder now than it was at 1 AM. I am glad this is a holiday and I don't have to get out to go to the post office.

Its only 48°F outside. Great day to watch TV. The USA network is having an all-day NCIS marathon.

Warren,
I really like that show. I am sick today and feel really lousy so I am going to spend the day in bed watching it over too. Nerves are bad and I am sick to my stomach. Also having blank periods and walked into the women's dressing room by mistake. Oh well, I guess something good has to come out of the bad once in a while.

At the risk of really upsetting everyone ... it was 66 degrees and clear blue sky today . Had the garage door open while I was working on my ERA .. and watched my old dog sleeping in the sun .
If it will make you feel better , supposed to rain Thursday and only get into the hi 50`s or low 60`s .... but that`s our fall in the deep South
Retirement is great !

Opening day for what? Deer hunting? Frog killin? Nude snow swimming?
Its a frosty 42°F now. Think I'm going to buy a Quartz heater for the garage and get some upgrades done on the Cobra.

Warren,
I'm been looking at your Turtle in your avatar figuring out what is wrong.
Well,I think I have something that will help lower the eye strain when someone accidently looks at him.
He needs a new do rag.

Good idea Fred. The one he has on is getting kind of frayed. Warren tends to ignore him until he is in really bad shape. Maybe Frenchy and the Sisters Could send him one for Christmas.

Good Chilly Morning. My doohickey is frozen to my whatchamacallit.
Why would any sane person need a green frog on a motorcycle pictured on a worthless piece of cloth? I guess there is a sucker born every minute.
Decisions ... decisions ... what's for breakfast? Cereal? Omelete? French Toast? Egg & Cheese McMuffin? Oh, my brain is starting to hurt.

It is cool here this morning but not down into the 40s like it was yesterday morning. There is some overcast and a possibility of some scattered and very light sprinkles off and on during the day.

The rain we had yesterday was very hard. I am in Mexicali again and I was surprised that our flight was not delayed. I was expecting traffic problems and delayed flights, so I decided to leave early and was stuck sitting at the airport for over an hour. No traffic, no security line, and no delays on flights. I was shocked.
