No it is just as bad here as it was when I lived in San Diego. Back then, I pushed a lot harder and fit in with the masses. The last 10 years though, I have wanted a less agitated life and less stress. I find it easier to just relax and not deal with the idiots.
Tru, it is raining here today and not supposed to get out of the 50s. That pretty much sums up the highs until mid next week as well. Possibly freeze tonight again.

Black Friday?
Slept til 9 AM
Read 2 newspapers
Watched some TV
Took a 2 hour power nap
Ordered about 4 things for the Cobra online
Ordered a couple of things for the house online
Updated my to-do-lists
Stayed away from the stores ... heck, I didn't even get the car out of the driveway.
Now paying bills.
Supper will be next ... leftovers from yesterday ... YUM.

GMW,
It is Saturday and most of the shoppers yesterday survived to make it home. Another cold morning in the 40s and supposed to reach high 60s this afternoon. I think I am just going to stay in most of the day as the traffic is higher than expected around here. Must be the last rush to enjoy the lower gas prices. It stays dark now until almost 7 AM, so I can't get out very early to do anything.
Everyone have a great weekend and prepare for Christmas as it will soon be here.

Mike,
Sounds as if you had as great two days. Now that you are an accomplished floor layer, you should do it for your friends.

Sunday morning and a chance according to our weather people to set an all time high for this day. The wind is blowing but at 1:30 AM it is already on 63 degrees. I guess rain is out for the next several days. I can go over and watch the lake slowly vanish.
Mike how is Lake Cachuma ( spelling )? Is it still pretty full or starting to get low?
Kristen,
Good luck in the State Championship game. Hope that your team wins.

Good Morning World
I guess all the heat is sliding west because its only 26°F here this morning.
Kristen - best wishes for the kids.
Well, I got my first Christmas card in the mail yesterday. Guess its time to go buy some cards.
Ron - the lake at the bottom of my street is doing fine. No problems. You might be able to see it on a worldwide map .... its called the Atlantic Ocean.

Warren,
I would have thought that with all of the Global Warming your lake would be almost into your yard by now. I don't know if this will become a Govt. program or not, but there is a rumor around here that they may start asking people to drive over and pee in the lake to see if they can bring the water level up some.

Well here is one company that it would be nice to have been working for this past year. They treat their employees nice.
