Wow Ron, that is unheard of. As far as a corporation goes, Samsung treats us well, but not like that.

Ron,
The lake is only down a little, a couple of years ago they raised the dam by 3 inches and it made a big difference.

Mike,
That is good. My Father was a shift supervisor on the tunnel they dug through the mountain to send water to Santa Barbara. I really want to try to get back down there next summer if I can and see some of the old places I had so much fun at.

I see congrats are in order for HLC. CONGRATS!!!
I see we are going to get 2 to 8 inches of snow over night ( meaning we will get rain and 1 inch of the white stuff ).
The older son has gone back to school, the younger one is working up to the eleventh hour.
How are all of you and what did you do for turkey day? ( I confess I didn't read any of the posts other than HLCs )
Later!

It rained yesterday but quit today by the time I had gotten home from church.
Took the Cobra for a North Shore run and even made a couple of skydives.
The water was glass with the winter waves here - but no whales in sight.
Great visuals from 14,000' going out the door! Our runway parallels the
shore line 50 yards away. Didn't get wet on the ride home either although
there were some fat black ones up there watching me - I out ran them.

Ah, Monday morning and cool here as usual but now the possible rain they forecast is no longer even on the weather map. Just shows mostly sunny and in the upper 60s for the next three days.
It is hard to believe that this is December already. This year seems to have passed pretty fast for me. I guess age can speed up time in spite of all the theories saying it can't.

Fred,
Slow, very slow. As I approach the speed of light I should at least get to see things that others haven't.
By the way, I watched a very good 2 hour show on Einstein last night that went all the way back to his childhood. According to the TV Guide this show was first aired last week so it is a pretty new one.

Sorry to hear that Mike. I hope that his insurance will help out but you can never replace all the papers and things.
Fred,
Mine works ok. I changed it and then changed it back to what it is.

I've been turned on too. But now I have to think of a good title, since "Cobra Goddess" has already been used.
GMW
Went for a nice 3 hour ride yesterday. Thank God for stock SPF heater. It was that, or do some clean-up around the yard. Maybe I'll post some pice later ... only if you are good.

Mike
Please pass on my best wishes to the Nelsons. Hope they have a good insurance policy.
Also, congrats on passing 1,000

Mike Z, I am sorry to hear of the Nelson's loss. I hope he is able to put his house in order after something as devistating as that.
It has snowed ( flurries ) for the past two days. We got about another inch to two inches last night.
How are you all doing?

It is overcast here this morning with a light mist falling but the weather says it is sunny so I guess I won't get wet when I go outside. I need to go up to Redding today and pick up a couple of things. Then if this mist/fog lifts I will do some things around here.

Chilly and windy during the evening hours here. Supposed to be up to 70 today though.
I made a fresh batch of salsa but changed the recipe up quite a bit. I brought it in to work today and everyone who has tried it loves it. I think I stumbled on a good recipe finally. I have been trying for years to get a good, flavorful, HOT salsa. I cannot find anything like it on the market. I like dipping salsas that you find in good Mexican Restaurants, but the only type of Salsa I can find in stores is the Picante style which is good for topping food, but not for dipping chips.

So this is a HOT salsa for dipping and not one for loading up in a scoop type chip.
Are you going to share your formula or will it remain unknown?
Dang it was cool this morning at 21. I actually had to wear a coat to work.
I am never going to be able to retire. If it is up one hour...it is in the toilet the next, dang blasted stock market.
