Those habaneros are too much for me, but I am interested in the mix.
So, did you grow the herbs or store buy them?
I am thinking I will want to can more salsa next year and would like to get a good formula down before I plan out what plants I am going to put in the ground.
Did you use Romas?
How mature were the jalapenos? I like to pick them about 2 inches unless they are going to be stuffed.
It is beginning to sound good.

Store bought everything. The tomatoes were Vine ripened tomatoes that were big enough to fill your hand each. The Jalapenos were about 3" long. The Cilantro was the bundled fresh (kinda looks like fresh parsely but darker) and I used the stems and all in the food processor. The Cayenne pepper and cumin were the dried, powder seasonings. Red Pepper was a large one. The oregano was dried leaves in a seasoning jar. Lime juice was just the bottled Lime juice because the fresh limes they had were turning yellow and the taste changes too much. The garlic I bought the little jar of minced garlic because it tastes good and is easy.

Tru,
Why not just copy the parts that you will need and then print them out? That way you would have the whole thing in front of you to look at and then you could ask any questions that might arise from your first batches.

OMG, its snowing outside! Must be at least a tenth of an inch so far.
Windy and 31°F outside. Good football watching day. All of the local high schools played their Superbowl games yesterday at the Pats stadium. What a thrill for the kids.

Warren,
Enjoy your long and cold Winter. It is 38 here this morning but is supposed to get up to 64 this afternoon and be sunny. Actually we need rain and should have been having a lot of it by now, but they say our Winter will be cold but dry.

HLC! Congrats on both accounts!
Ron, I do that too many times and end up with papers lying around all over the place.
I see the temp is up above 10, it was 8 this morning. The wood stove has been running since friday night.
Don't worry Warren, it will stop snowing and the sun will warm it up...in May.
HLC, how are the temps in your area?

I don't think I'll ever see a dog doing that here - not even on top of Mauna

Congrats to Ms K's kids.
Fred, that's a snow mole, not a dog. Very funny.
Got about 1/2 inch snow just on grass ... nothing on streets. But its 27°F tonight so nothing will melt until Tues & Wed when its supposed to rain.
Tru - regarding the recipe ... do what I do. Copy and past the stuff into a word document and then save it to file. I have a very big file with tons of recipes.

Ah, the wonders of Monday morning. Cold, probably foggy but to dark to really tell yet. We Had a very thick and cold fog all morning yesterday and it was freezing on the house roofs and looked like light spots of snow.

The dusting of snow is still around, especially since its 12°F outside. Time for a nice hot shower and breakfast.

Warren,
You aren't one of those that takes a hot shower, puts their skivvies on, and runs outside and rolls around in the snow are you?

Wow, if it is all the way up to 21 degrees you should be getting ready for a nice long ride. I have heard that after the first mile you don't notice the cold.
