HLC and I have children...hence we rise early.
I would say that it was a work ethic, but I do not want to cause discomfort for those who do not work and would be reminded of work.

Tru,
I have no work ethics and I get up every day at midnight. Go to bed around 9 PM. I have tow pups that think that anything over 3 hours sleep at a time is wrong. So I have put in half a day before you get up.
Well another wrong weather forecast. No rain, no snow, just cold and the sun is really nice. In fact it is starting to warm up now. I made the trip to the vets and got home ok. Got a bunch of dog food and then went to the post office and received my phone bill and Insurance Bill for the cars. This has been an expensive day.

They closed the dollar store down and reopened it after it got a loan from Obama. Its now the thirty seven cents store after the bailout package.

One more case of swearing like this and I'm going to report you to CW or maybe even Jamo.

Hey Tru,
There is an Emerson Cobra for sale over on Cobra Country that you could buy for your son to drive. I received an e-mail with the same specs in it this morning.
Well we never got the rain and snow they kept saying we would have for Christmas. and all day yesterday was sunny and in the mid 50s and the forecast just kept saying rain with mixed snow. They should look out the window once in a while. It is supposed to rain today also but I see stars everywhere.

The good news is that the West 50-60 mph winds have removed ALL the leafs from my yard and the few that were still on my trees.
My neighbors now have them all,Merry Christmas.

Our home in Keller always seemed to be the one the leaves congregated in for some reason. As soon as I would get the picked up, the wind would replace them again. Finally I just quit picking them up. After a week they were six feet deep in some places.
I filled up the truck about eight or ten times and took them all to the farm and mixed them in the garden. They make great mulch.
But who needs that many????
Raining good and very windy right now. Good thing I haven't washed the cars yet

Yeah, but Fred, that's normal for your area.

Fred & Steve,
Our weather forecasters are something else. All day Christmas and yesterday they kept saying it was raining and a mixture of snow. There wasn't a cloud in sight and it was in the mid 50s. I just got back from the morning run with the pups and was surprised to find it was raining. There is some overcast but I sure never saw any rain or even a wet spot. It was even warmer than usual this morning. I think it was 38 or 39 degrees when we went for our run. I guess being a weather forecaster here doesn't require anything as intelligent as looking out the window. I would be embarrassed to tell people it is raining and the sun is out and no clouds in sight.

I live at the end of a cul-de-sac and I as soon as I open my garage door every leave in the neighborhood blows in.

Mike,
We seem to have the same problem. I don't live in a cul-de-sac, but my carport is like a vacuum. Every leaf that blows down the street turns in and piles up under it. I have to go carry them out about every other day, but now most of them are gone thank goodness.

Tru,
Are you going to be sporting this time and leave the guns home and just use knives. Remember your ancestors managed to kill much larger animals with just rocks and spears.
