There are very few things I miss about that particular home, but this is one of them. I don't miss the garage full of leaves one bit.
The stupid high taxes I don't miss either.

Tru,
Are you going to hunt on K's property again? That looks like a great place from the pictures you posted last time you were down 'huntin hogs'

OK, watched the Patriots win ... check
Go for a one hour ride @52°F but 100% cloudy ... check
Hit red line a couple of times ... check
Spun the tires in 3rd gear at about 80 MPH ... checked my underwear.
Just wiped down the paint. Still a few too many wet spots.
Just sitting here hoping the Jets win (UGH) so the Pats will make the playoffs.
Pictures during the 11 o'clock news.

Not a nice day here yesterday. Just sprinkled all day and was cold. Not enough water to do anything but make the streets and ground wet, but to much to get outside for more than a few minutes without getting very wet and cold. So far this morning there doesn't seem to be anything falling so when it gets light I will take the dogs for our run. But the forecast for today is for light showers mixed with snow.

That will be the week after my Step Son graduates from Boot Camp. I don't know if he is coming here afterwards or visiting his dad in Cali, or Grand Mother in South Carolina, so I don't know what I will have planned, but I would still like to grill some meat with ya though. How long are you going to be here?

We are heading to HLC's. We should arrive on the 23rd. We need to do some small checks on the rifles and then hunt until the 29th. Be home by the 30th.
I am hoping Dave with be able to hunt with us, he is a down right good hunter and fun to have along.
Well, that is the plan. The old hunt got erased, so I will post a new hunt.
This is all contingent on no hold-ups.

Dang Fred, 70s is fine.
We don't need any cool weather.
The last day I was down last time, it was like 35 and raining. It is not necessary to get the same conditions.

Fred,
Tru would feel more at home if it was in the low 20s and snowing. Want the Goddess to divert some of the snow headed toward his place down there?

Sure Ron, I could use a day off from Work. More than 3 flakes within 1 hour here and the whole city shuts down. If we were to get a couple of feet of snow, half the population would be locked in their houses until spring.

Ron understands.
I'm just wanting you to feel at home.
Being homesick for your weather back home could hurt your aim when a pi$$ed off hog charges you.

Joe,
With all of the strange weather patterns the last couple of years, you may have to get used to snow there. On the other hand it looks as if we are going to have to live with no rain or snow. I believe we have had about 2" of snow so far and just over 7" of rain. That is drought conditions here. There is snow on all of the hills around me but it is just a few inches deep.
You do get New Years off don't you?

Heart Attack Grill:
The commercial only lasts a few seconds and then you get to see a great grill. Fred and Warren had best skip the burgers.

The nurses weren't to bad either.
Darn, you don't even get New Years Day off. I thought that about every business took that of or are you just working to cover the job. When I was working a couple of us had to work the Holidays and then we got a day off after the rest came back to work. But still had to stay on call.

Ron,
We are off for New Years Day only. We work New Years eve, and the 2nd, then off for the weekend. I always have hated taking a day off, then back for a day then off again. Just extend the weekend. I would rather work new years and get the 2nd off for a 3 day weekend.
Also the defib comment was made when one of the nurses bent over and they zoomed in on the 2 medical symbols.
Fred,
Too old (and too married) to touch, not look.

Joe,
I sure agree with you about having one day off and then working a day and then the weekend off. That is why with just six of us to cover the whole Northern Area, I would always work the holiday and let the other 5 have it off and then I would take the Friday off. And I was top in Seniority so I could do it whichever way I wanted.
