Yes we do chop, cut and mix when we want to.
I think we are looking at some sage breakfast sausage this weekend.

GMA everyone
Damn big snake (fossil) they found. I am glad they are not that big any longer. Even though South Florida does have some very large constrictor problems right now.

Steve,
You think that one was big. Wait until they find the remains of the one that I lost when I was younger. I had to keep him away from my pet dinosaur or he would have ate him.

Darn Tru,
Now I have to go look through all of those stone tablets to see which one it was. Those things weigh a ton.

Use the one you hand painted in the cave. That one always works.

Mike
Want some snow? We've had 63 inches so far. City costs to remove snow has been $2.2M. Budget was $300K. What a bunch of city idiots over here in Taxachusetts.
Balmy 10F outside and supposed to go to Zero tonight.

Mike,
I can remember it raining some when I lived down there. We are having some very light showers yesterday and this morning, but not anything worth while. Enough to water the weeds and that is it. Temperature is staying down into the 50s though. Really is cold. Warren and Tru are getting all of our rain in the form of snow.
They were giving some of the snow levels yesterday and on Mt Shasta where it should be over 100 inches they had a top depth of 17 inches. In Lassen at Lake Helen they had right at 7 feet and it should be in the 15 to 25 foot range there now. And it is already melting and you can see big black spots on Shasta where the ground and rocks are uncovered.

What a Winter this has been so far. Record high temperatures, no rain or snow, and yesterday the weather people said this was our driest Winter since 1977 and that if we didn't get huge amounts of rain and snow in the next two months next summer could be the worst in Northern Californias history. I am not sure how Southern California is doing for water, but up here they are already starting rationing in some places and these are the months that we should be having rain day and night for weeks at a time. Some farmers have already said they would be letting thousands of acres go un-planted as they would use what water they could get to try and save their orchards. Food is going to go out of sight soon. And some ranchers are getting ready to sell off as many of their beef cattle as they can due to lack of water. That may drive the price of beef down for a short time, but then it will go out of sight as there will be a shortage of it. This is all the worst case scenario they laid out, and it could improve a lot if the rain and snow ever come here and leave Warren and Tru alone.
This is what I wish it looked like on the coast up here.

Why all the engine work. Planning to let BB ride with you instead of Frenchy? Will your next trip be a long one or just a short one to check out how the engine does?

Frenchy brings in more Quarters per day than BB and she is easier on the gas mileage.
I'll be doing day trips until after the tax season is over.
Then I still REALLY want to ride in Arkansas plus Missouri,Tn.,etc..
That is in April and first part of May.
Come the end of May and June... Rocky Mountains here I come !!!
This is what I've redone my engine for ...running up and down mountains while loaded up with all my chit.

Fred,
It sounds as if you have a great time ahead of you. That is the way to see this country is just take off and go wherever you want with no planned agenda. I never liked to go anywhere when it was planned out for so many hours or a day here and then to here. If I wasn't in such bad shape, I would be very tempted to buy a motorcycle and do just what you are going to do. Only I would be heading East and just kind of back and forth across the country. I would like to go back to the Grand Canyon and spend a week or so and other places where I never got to spend as much time as I liked. I would probably avoid going near Warren's as I don't want to get snowed in during a freak summer blizzard.
