Tru,
I thought you had a lift. Or are you getting another one for your next Cobra so they will both have one? I am guessing that you will bid on the Coupe that is going to come up for sale soon. Ten figures doesn't sound so bad if you don't write it out with the $ sign in front of it.

Same lift. Last year the right side crapped out. This year the left side crapped out. It wasn't taken care of so, I am finding all of the parts that need service.
Raining all day today. My trees are happy.
I think I will be able to get the CAM in before June with the machine work.

Tru,
I am sooooo sorry you have had trouble with the lift. I never had a single problem with it when I had it, not one. I certainly would not have sold it to you had I known it would cause any problems. Hell I would have given it to you if I thought it was a remote possibility that anything was wrong.

Ghost of Patton!
With our "new president" about to free the many terrorist, murderers, and other known extremely dangerous enemies of the US , being held at Gitmo, I think this is how General George S. Patton would sum things up...... and then catch holy hell from Ike. He sure had a unique way of expressing his thoughts. Read this and do believe it.
Ghost of General Patton
ATTENTION!
Mr. President, and all those whining, panty-waisted, pathetic Maggots, it's time for a little refresher course on exactly why we Americans occasionally have to fight wars.
See if you can tear yourself away from your "reality" TV and Starbucks for a minute, pull your head out of your flabby ass -- and LISTEN UP!
Abu Ghraib is not "torture" or an "atrocity". This is the kind of thing frat boys, sorority girls, and academy cadets do to newcomers
A little fun at someone else's expense.
Certainly no reason to wring your hands or get your panties in a wad.
Got that?
THIS IS an atrocity!
So Was This!
WHICH PART DON'T YOU GET?
Islam a peaceful religion?
My Ass!
Millions of these sons-of-*****es are plotting, as we speak, to destroy our country and our way of life any way they can.
Many of them are here among us now.
They don't want to convert you and don't want to rule you. You are a vile infestation of Allah's paradise . They don't give a **** how "progressive" you are, how peace-loving you are, or how much you sympathize with their cause..
They want your ass dead, and they think it is God's will for them to do it.
Some think if we give them a hug or listen to them, then they'll like us... and if you agree? Then you are a pathetic dumb ass!
If they manage to get their hands on a nuke, chemical agents, or even some anthrax -- you will wish to God we had killed THEM while we had the chance.
How many more Americans must be beheaded?
You've fallen asleep AGAIN, maggots!
And you may not get another chance!
NOW GET OFF YOUR SORRY ASS -
and pass this on to any and every person you give a damn about.. if you ever gave a damn about anything
DISMISSED!

Very good Mike. You get two stars.
At least Patton was not afraid to say what he thought and he and General Bradley were the only two American Generals that the Germans respected. They considered Ike a joke and politician.

Not to worry about it Steve, I'll fix it up and use it as intended.
Well folks, it looks like it might rain this weekend, so I might be working on a few "inside projects"

Seems pretty reckless to me.
How does he expect to keep a proper lookout with his left knee sticking up like that ?

Fred,
I saw a great new seat advertised that must have been made for you and Frenchy. It looked like two wide, thickly padded bicycle seats mounted side by side and then attached to the frame where the regular seat attaches. That way Frenchy could sit beside you and see where you are going.

Here is a good place to have some fun and maybe learn a little as it is set up to eliminate you being able to put in that you don't live in a city and a few other things that would make it more accurate for you.

Fred, he still sings to his monitor. It wouldn't be so bad if he had good pictures to look at.
Anyway, I get out the MP3 player and put on some classic Rock and tune him out.
Every once in a while I ask him if he is singing. He stops and within 30 minutes, he starts again.
The gun show was last weekend and I invited him, figured there was a hint there, but he didn't get it. Then, I had a picture of a 50 cal on the screen for two or three days...he still doesn't get it.
So, I will just live with the MP3 player and his singing.
I am thinking of doing the heads. It is looking good to pull them and get them over to the machine shop so I can be out and about early.

At first when I read this I couldn't understand why you would think that having a double bagger, disease ridden Ho Frog sitting beside me could ever be a good idea.
I think I understand now.Very clever Ron.
The chances of anyone getting close or especialy pulling out in front of me after seeing Frenchy would drop big time.

Wow, and after all the good things Warren said about her. I would hate to have you two judging a beauty contest.

NOTICE
The Center for Disease Control has issued a medical alert about a highly contagious, potentially dangerous virus that is transmitted orally, by hand, and even electron
This virus is called Weekly Overload Recreational Killer (WORK).
If you receive WORK from your boss, any of your colleagues or anyone else via any means whatsoever - DO NOT TOUCH IT!!! This virus will wipe out your private life entirely. If you should come into contact with WORK you should immediately leave the premises.
Take two good friends to the nearest liquor store and purchase one or both of the antidotes - Work Isolating Neutralizer Extract (WINE) and Bothersome Employer Elimination Rebooter (BEER). Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated from your system.

Darn Steve, that is good. Why did you wait to post it until I came in from mowing the lawns? It is almost 80 here and that wet grass and weeds was heavy. I had to stop and empty the grass catcher about every 5 minutes or two trips across the yard. Still need to mow outside and use the weed eater but I am tired and hot right now. Time to rest and have a Diet Pepsi.

I got a Comp cam kit that has solids and a .6 lift. It's the whole shootin match.
So I am going to have a valve job and new springs installed. They will do all of the setting height and stuff like that. I just am not interested in spending the time to do it.
Anyway, I am interested to see how the SS valves look after 7000 miles.
Not sure about getting to it this weekend, My wife called with "plans".

Tru,
The ranked thingy is if you think a post is extra good for any reason you can click on the thumb up and it will add 1 to the positive ranking. If it gets enough then it is supposed to be easy to find. Just the opposite for the thumb down icon.
