Well it was 80 and humid here yesterday with more of the same for today. I mowed the yards and had to quit as I mas so wet with sweat my clothes were sticking to me. Then on TV they had a warning about being out in the sun without some kind of sun blocker as this heat could burn you in a few minutes. I wore a light long sleeve shirt and my arms are sort of red and sore this morning. If this is an indication of what to expect when Summer gets here, it is going to be bad. They are already at work trying to clear as much brush as they can around the towns to help with the extreme fire danger they expect. You know it is bad as even the local tree huggers aren't out protesting. I need to mow some more today and use the weed eater.

Wasn't watching but I just heard a story.
They were going on about being worried about a bunch of Northern Dykes springing leaks.
I suppose the Lesbian crowd may care and I can see as how that could cause some undesireable results but on the National News ?

Where is Warren?
Anyone heard from Warren?
He probably was out driving around in that cool weather and got a sniffle. OR better yet, he met someone...special.

Um wow. I don't even remember coming here last night. I now wonder how many of those margaritas I had. I rarely get hangovers, but my head is pounding this morning. I had to read some of that twice to understand what I was trying to type. At least I realized I was drunk posting at the time.
Fred,
Instead of talking about rules while drunk posting with an empty glass, you should have said "STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD".
Edit: no one told me of the empty glass rule either.

Joe,
Your posts made as much sense as some of ours.
Darn,
I was going to work in the yard and the wind is really blowing. Now I will have to wait and see if it will let up as it really kills my sinuses. Also have a headache and feel really stuffy. But it is much better than being back in the Red River Area where the flooding is going on. I have been watching that on TV and it could be ok if the river doesn't get any higher now.
Ok, I just came back in from opening tha gates and the wind is starting to let up and it was 66 when I got up his morning so it is already in the 70s now that the sun has madeit over the mountains. So maybe I will be able to get some of that mowing and clean up done today after all.

Joe,
Report on new Troy Bilt Weed Eater. I love it. I just did over 200' along the inside of my chain link fence and it is great. That fence eats line like sandpaper on paint and I had to refill it once. The no spool removal refill is great. Only thing is, it only holds 20' of line. I used some old .080 that I have for the Electric one as the grass I was cutting wasn't huge and that line is old and brittle and needs to be used up. I have a new spool of the .095. I also did the mowing out front and now I just like mowing the upper lot and going outside in the alley behind me and using the weed eater on that 200' of fence but I am going to wait as it is already 78 degrees and I am tired and shaking quite a bit. The 4 cycle isn't hard on gas as I just refilled it once and still have some left and I used to have to refill the 2 cycle about 4 times for this same amount. But get the shoulder strap if you get one. With that you can just almost use one hand and run the thing. Time for a break.
Well I am now through with the yard work for a day or so. I just finished mowing the upper lot and it is getting quite hot. I will get out after while and change the blades on the two mowers as the ones on them need to be sharpened. But for now I am just going to rest.

Good to know Ron. I have the 2 cycle troy built, so if anything I will likely just get the attachment for the no spool weed eater.

Wind is blowing some this morning but the sun is up and it is supposed to be in the mid to upper 70s again. Glad that I got the yard work done yesterday and can just sit around today.
