Tru,
Nothing positive and I couldn't give it out if I were sure which it was. I am going to try to search the local paper there and see if they gave the cause that we talked about. I feel as if I have lost a member of the family.

Yea, he lived for his rides and the pictures. When we would be talking and it was snowing there I would remind him it was pretty nice here. Sunny and in the 60s. I don't believe I ever knew anyone who enjoyed their Cobra more than he did. He went to the car shows, even the Factory Five Open Houses and they welcomed him and his superformance. His Gallery has some great pictures. I still mess with the old Windows 95 laptop that he gave me as it is something that is almost a museum piece now.

I think I have watched all his videos on his ride thread at least 2 times. It is not going to be the same without him around.

Well, I am trying to schedule an Elk hunt.
Looks like black power at the beginning of the rut or rifle for two weeks in November.
The hunt will be in the mountains. I am not sure I will be able to transport 700 pounds of meat per animal without having it processed first.
I plan on going with Gerry again. He's pretty good as a hunter.

Joe,
Go to You tube and look at the number of videos Warren has there. I have spent a lot of time watching them. Even the ones of him going through the Big Dig Tunnel. I told him it was all that noise he made that caused the tiles to start falling.
Tru,
Good luck on the hunt. Hope that you have a good time and a lot of luck.

After reading what you guys said about Warren, he couldn't have a better tribute. Sorry I didn't know him better.

I had a pastrami sandwich in his honor for lunch. (closest i could get to corned beef- i don't like corned beef!)
we will really really miss him here. More than i think we know, right this second.....
i haven't had much grief over the internet; this is odd and sad and hard.
i am going to send his sisters an email at some point. I have his address, so guess i'll send them a card at his home.

Mike,
It is hard for any of us who knew him well to believe it. I feel as if I have lost a brother. I have a ton of pictures that he sent me and other items as he knew that I am a history buff and we talked a lot about the history in that area. I wish he had gotten his 442 restored. He enjoyed driving his Cobra more than any person I have ever known.

If it hadn't been for the site, none of you would have found friendship as close as you had across so many miles. I'll miss reading the back and forth about Warren's Turtle, the Ho Sisters, Biker Babe and the constant back and forth you all had about the Mt. Shasta Godess' curse for snow.

That is exactly right.
We all have a passion for the cars, but as we say in the Texas Cobra Club

Well I guess Tru will be in trouble next Winter with the Goddess looking for someplace to send all of that snow, she won't have to split it between the two of them.

Ouch! Hadn't thought of that.
Tru,
You better start cutting firewood now. It could be a very long winter.
