Tru,
Great weather you are having. We could certainly use some of that rain and snow. This drizzle we are getting today won't do anything but make the weeds grow faster.

The class I am teaching is coming to an end.
The snow is coming to an end.
One of my projects at work is coming to an end.
I just wish the taxes were...coming to an end.

Well it is showering here this morning. Not enough to do any good but it will make my weeds grow like mad when the sun comas back out.

With 4 days off you should be able to get in some good snow shoveling.

We had rain all day yesterday and it was just a good slow soaking type. Won't help the water situation any but will sure make my weeds grow.
Tru,
How is Yukon doing? I haven't seen anything more about him after you said he wasn't feeling well. Hope he is ok by now.

New avatar for Joe, looks interesting.
Working to get things done...you need to have a goal.
So, suppose you have a friend whose wife is sort of flaky. He meets another woman and she seems to be 'needy'. Does he swap flaky for needy or does he live with what he has?
I am working an angle for a story and was wondering what you all think.

Sorry Ron, Yukon is about the same. After I fix the lift I think we might take him over to another vet and see if he/she is any more intelligent.

Tru,
I hope that Yukon gets better soon. To bad you can't get him to my vet. He is one of the top 10 ranked in the country and has a far nicer hospital and better trained staff than the regular people hospitals around here. People drive up here from some pretty long distances to bring their pets to him.

Yea, came across it the other day and it just kinda fit. I have been looking for a picture/logo for my Salsa and this fit. I was trying to find a cross between a classic pirate garb and death. Kinda close so I decided to try it on for a while.

Tru,
You posted it in the thread about the pirates where you asked me what it was like back in the days of wooden ships. And you laugh at me because I can't remember things.

No one remember the new stuff. I am still thinking about the stones that we threw at each other from floating logs.

At my age, laughter is good. Either with or at me. I watched a program called Ancient Aliens last night and I am almost sure that I saw an old painting of one of my relatives. They haven't even dated some of the stuff but think it is older than the Pyramids.
Darn, from the 80s to a cold, somewhat hard wind blowing this morning and my driveway looks as if someone poured yellow paint on it from all of the pollen that has blown around. Boy, I am going to have to stay inside today as my sinuses are really a mess and I sneezed all the way out and back from opening the gates.

Did you note the age of that one city as 17,000 years? You were just getting gray about then...right?
I saw the same program. Too much about Van Dinakin ( I can not spell the author's name ).
The stone head with the face looking out was great!.

What channel was the show on? I want to do a search for it and maybe catch it. I like stuff like that.
