There was some hint that it might be diesel but just more of a thought than any factual statement.

Ron, I can not do anything with that thingy you sent me.

Do I need to wait for some time before I can interact?

Tru,

Send me an e-mail and tel me what happened. And don't send it through the club. I have a feeling I already know, but will need to make sure.

Ok, good luck and have a great day. It is already in the 90s here and like a sauna as we had a big dew last night and yo can almost see the steam rising from the ground. Fire season is here and so is the heat.

It seemed like California here the other day as there were wildfires in North Texas and the high winds were blowing all the smoke into DFW. Luckily they were able to get the blaze under control quickly and in a day or 2 it was clearing all out.

Good morning!!!

Yes, it is chilly outside this morning.

Jeep is in the shop for a new nose. Been bent for years, just decided to clean it up.

Warm and humid here. I had the air conditioner on all day yesterday and it kept going on and off until late in the night. More of the same for today except I think I am going to skip finishing the mowing. When I came inside yesterday I was seeing black spots and feeling very sick and nervous. Still don't feel great this morning but better.

Well yesterday was another hot day and somewhat humid here. I mowed the rest of my upper driveway and lot but just couldn't do the weed eating. It is already on 70 degrees here at 12:30 AM and my attic fan just shut of about 30 minutes ago. But it will be back on soon enough. Not sure I am going to try doing the weed eating today as my nerves are suffering big time from the heat.

Obama Opens Chevy Dealership on White House Lawn

Slashes Prices on Malibus, Cobalts

In a move signaling his most direct involvement in the U.S. auto industry to
date, President Barack Obama announced today that he was opening a Chevrolet dealership on the White House lawn.

As car-carriers dumped hundreds of unsold 2009 Malibus, Silverados and
Cobalts onto the grass in front of the President's historic residence, workmen draped a banner in front of the White House portico reading "Buy a Chevrolet from the USA."

Another crew of workers were busy erecting a new sign in front of the White House reading "Barry's Auto City," the name of Mr. Obama's dealership.

In a new TV ad broadcast nationwide, the president was seen wearing an Uncle Sam costume and telling the American people, "We are slashing prices on 2009 Chevys to make room for the 2010s, if there still are Chevys by then."

Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel said that all Cabinet members were taking turns running the dealership, and that Vice-President Joe Biden was manning the customer service hot line.

Customers calling the hot line complained that wait times were as long as
thirty minutes and that Mr. Biden was overly chatty, but Mr. Emanuel stressed that the customer service department was "a work in progress."

He added that once President's Chevy dealership is up and running, Mr.
Obama will open a Chrysler dealership next to it.

Tru,

Fred has been getting his bike ready for the big, long, Summer trip through the mountains. Then for relation he goes and plays with Frenchy and the Ho sisters. You had better take them off his hands for a week or so until he gets back to normal.

Fred, you lucky guy. The weather is getting just right for your bike trips and here you go off to harass Josh. As long as you are going to be at the campus why not drop BB off. Maybe she could learn something.

Going into the mountains of New Mexico sounds like a fun ride. If you get far enough be sure to stop by the area where they have the old cliff dwellings. But that is not really a mountainous area. Enjoy the trip.

Wow, big temperature change here this morning. I am going to have to switch from the air conditioner to the heat I think. Darn I hate these overnight big temperature swings.

Well it is going to 80 this weekend, I am going to start the CAm project!

It should be a single day of taking the engine aprt and getting it over to the machine shop.

I have a ton of other things to do, but that is going to be the major task.

Tru,

Why are you changing cams? Doing an upgrade for more power or was the old one going bad?

My latest e-mail:

Shooting in Butte, Montana

Shotgun preteen vs. illegal alien Home Invaders :

Butte, Montana November 5, 2007

Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably
believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old Patricia
Harrington after her father had left their two-story home.

It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana
and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine.

Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the
front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his
12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.

Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the
first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's
knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.

When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left
shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before
medical help could arrive.

It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber
handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old
David Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.

Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, & MSNBC, CNN, or
ABC news........an 11 year old girl, properly trained, defended her home, and
herself......against two murderous, illegal aliens ......and she wins, she is
still alive...

Now that is Gun Control !

I get several of those type e-mails every week from people. Some are funny and some are more or less true. At least they beat the You have Won $XX millions in a lottery in some country where I have never been let alone bought a ticket.

Sunday. Starting a new week and it is not as hot as it has been. The link below will take you to a PPS file that shows the Thousand Islands near the St. Lawrence Seaway. My Father was a Foreman on that job and I worked on it between school years. You have to left click on each picture to move to the next one.
