I still look down at the bottom every day for his wtm442 to see if he is signed in. And my e-mail isn't anywhere nearly as interesting now. Darn he got a lot of those PPS files and sent them to me. I must have 100 of them at least.

Ron,
I agree about the email. I used to get about 15-20 jokes/pps/oddball emails from him every week. I have replaced them with stuff from my automotive electronics business.

Works for me - a good place to visit and shoot the shibai, even if I am
not much of a poster, I'm a good reader.
I sure miss Warren's pictures of his various cruises.
I am on the road to recovery after getting mr right shoulder joint replaced.
Started formal rehab today and that was easy. I think I'll push it some to
see if I can get back in the Cobra sooner.
Ya'll keep posting!

Flip,
Don't push it to hard to try and save a day or so. Believe me, if you mess up, the second time is longer and much more difficult. Just do what you can and if you can add a little to it with no bad effects, then do it.
Best of luck on a quick and complete recovery.

Well here it is Saturday and it rained a slow steady type for about 5 hours yesterday. Then we had another 2 hours this morning. Not enough to help the water situation any but enough to undo all of the mowing and weed eating I spent all day at.

Hey Flip .... be very careful on pushing your shoulder therapy . I tried that on one of my hip replacements and set myself back about 4 weeks . I was/am probably about as stubborn on listening to the Doc as you are ... and yes , I really wanted back in my car also .

Thanks for the advice guys, after last night I'll back my efforts off - ouch!
I don't want to make things worse, at least it was much better today. We
went for a drive to some scenic parks I hadn't seen before today. Some
beautiful places here.

Flip,
Glad to hear that the shoulder is feeling better. But just don't get that false sense that everything is going so well I can do more than I should. Believe me, the consequences aren't worth another few days.

Good morning. It is still raining here. Not hard but a slow steady rain and it is supposed to keep on for the next couple of days. Then the sun will come out and I will have to do all of this mowing and stuff over again.
Tomorrow I have to go to my eye doctor for my yearly check and I am probably going to new new lens in my glasses this year.

We got a very hard rain here last night. It started about 2:00 PM yesterday and rain hard until early this morning. I am surprised to see there isn't flooding everywhere.
The thunder seemed like it was in the attic of the house. In my whole life I have never felt so close to it. It would start just above the house and run for miles in all directions. It was a great light show for sure.
Have to pat the electrical company on the back for this one. The power never went out during the whole storm. The news reported outages everywhere but not here.
Also the Dallas Cowboys practice facility was torn up. It is an "air supported" roof and the wind and rain tore it to shreds and made it collapsed WHILE the Cowboys were on the practice field. It was new players (and rookies) that were on the field but still it amazes me they were still out there. I had heard some folks wee injured and there were many, many ambulances sent there and taking people away. I do not know the extent of the injuries for those people.

Darn Steve,
It sounds as if you really got hammered. Hope none of the injuries were bad. I am surprised they wold be out on the field in that kind of weather. Must have figured the roof would stand up to anything.

With all the flooding rain, wind and lightening Frenchy and the Ho Sisters thought I had thrown a party at Disneyland for them.
Like they would let those 2 bit Ho's into Disneyland.

They would make out well there. You should see some of the strange people that I have seen there.

Thought I'd share a news clip that gave my son a lot of air time. He is
the light haired guy in the white tee shirt. NC does an annual fishing outing
for military troops who have recently returned from Iraq. Since he is at
Pope AFB which is next to Ft Bragg, Fayetteville, NC and had done his tour
in Iraq he was one of 150 troops to participate. He also got a nice rod and
reel and other goodies. He didn't catch any fish (you had to release them
anyway) but had a great time. Very cool.
