Fred,
When I was a little kid, that was one of my favorite books. I know I just made Frenchy's day.

Just got back from the market and it is 3:30 AM. Already so warm that I wish I had air conditioning in the car. It is supposed to be in the 90s with some humidity today.
Joe, I hope the trip goes well. I believe that you said you were flying into Chicago. Every time I flew into there to catch a connecting flight the one I was on landed at the far end of the airport from the one I was trying to catch. And most times I have 15 to 30 minutes. Man that is a long run from one end of that terminal to the other.

Darn, it is hot. I have been pulling poison oak up and am just soaked with sweat. I think we may top the 100 mark soon this afternoon. And I still have a lot of that darn stuff to get pulled up to stop it from getting into my lots. I think I have the back alley pretty much under control for a while now but that upper end is a bit** as it is full of burrs and stickers and the poison oak is pretty well covered by them.

Ron,
Sure sounds like you are having fun.
I have completed my 5th week post shoulder surgery and all is going well.
The weather here is no wind, cloudy with fog and some rain. Great weather
for the tourists.

Flip,
I am glad that the recovery is going so well. I need to mow today and it is going to be in the upper 90s to low 100s. Also just a little humidity and that is what really bothers me. Man, could we ever use some rain. It isn't getting below 72 at night now.

Has anyone heard from Tru in the past day or so? He may be posting and I have just missed it. I hope that everything is ok with him.

Thanks Terry,
I just missed it I guess. I spent most of yesterday getting all of my mowing and weed eating done so I could have the weekend free and just came on for a few minutes to look. Another hot day in store for today too.

Ron,
Trip went well, thanks for asking. It was a 1 day trip into Chicago, do some training, and back to the airport and home last night. I left for the airport at 4AM, and got home at about 8PM. Long day but it is better than staying overnight. I got to sleep in my own bed.

Joe,
That alone was worth a lot. I hated staying in motels for weeks at a time. Now you can enjoy the warm Texas weather.

Unbelievable. We have gone for weeks with heat, dust, and fire danger and just now we had a sudden thunderstorm with some light rain and lightning.

It is dark and overcast here again this morning but no rain. The forecast was for some scattered clouds so I have no idea what may happen today. The darn weeds in my yards grew 6" after that rain.

Mike,
This is an unusual thing here also. No rain for 3 years and now we get some in June. It is the lightening that everyone is worried about as the rain was welcome. At least for one day the air isn't full of dust.

I hope it keeps raining for you guys. Get a year like we had 2 years ago and fill up all the lakes.
Great weather here and I am only 3 hours from leaving and heading to the race track to watch the Nascar Truck race tonight.
