Yea, I saw that. The underground water tunnel is leaking so bad it is underminning some peoples homes.
It looks like they will send in scuba divers to inspect the damage.

Wednesday and I feel terrible. That dust getting into my throat yesterday has me so horse I can't hardly talk and I have a stuffed up head. I should not have gotten out in that heat and dust to do the little weed eating that I did do. I haven't felt this bad in a long time. I hope as the day goes along I will start feeling better and can at least do a little work around the yards before the real heat gets here in another few days.

Tru,
Well I found out what happened to me over the weekend. I had another heat stroke. This is my 3rd one. The first one was in Korea and I almost died. Then I have had two now since and my doctor tells me they are easier to have every time I have one. Just drinking a lot of water won't do it. I have to stop and soak myself with cool water every so often now.

Ron,
That is what I thought. When the last one happened to me a friend who was also a paramedic soaked me down to cool me off.
I had never heard of that before but he said it was the safest and quickest way to get safely out of the situation. Sometimes I just grab a hose and wet my hat or lean over and get my head wet. It is amazing how well that works.
Fred has a cool idea that he got from a Harley shop. Maybe you can get him to mail you one.

Steve,
With the heat and dust and humidity we are now starting into, I will be cutting back my out in the sun work a lot. I just can't take it like I used to. And my doctor told me to stay out of the heat of the afternoon especially as I most likely won't recover from another one that is as severe as this one was.

Take it easy ron. It is not worth risking it just to do some yard work. Stay in the AC for a few days.

Joe,
I plan on making the original couch potatoes look like hard working people. My work in the yards will be in the mornings if it isn't already to hot. I go to the store at around 3 AM when I have to so that isn't to bad. It would be nice if my old car had air conditioning in it.

Yea, Friday at last. I am starting to feel stronger from my last problems but it is supposed to be in the 98 to 102 range today with some humidity so I figure on staying inside. The dust here is about as bad as I have ever seen it.

Good Morning everyone.
Ron,
Let the yard go for a little while. I sure wish I lived closer to you, I would let my son take care of the yard for you. I am afraid he would wear the tires and wheels out dragging the mower behind his bike from Texas.
WOW, yesterday was a big loss to the entertainment industry.
RIP Farrah
RIP Michael

Steve,
I have the mowers and stuff but you can't hire anyone around here to do that. It is already in the 80s heading for the 100s and humid as all get out right now. I plan to spend the day in the house with the air conditioner on.

It just got to 100 here yesterday but add in the humidity and I believe they said the heat index was around 107. Today is supposed to be hotter. So I will spend my time working in the garage if I do anything at all.

Steve,
It was 103 and humid here all day yesterday and is supposed to be about the same today. I was out in the garage for a little while and almost got sick it was so hot in there.

yea, it was 103* here today as well.
I am not sure what the heat index was (is) but it is blazing outside. I was outside working in the yard and I still have a headache.
Dang is it me or does it seem like we have lost a lot of celebrities in the last few weeks?
