Nope.
Hint:
It'll have four tires and wheels.
The tires are 22 X 11 x 10 in size
The wheels will be 10 X 8
The Trojans are 6 Volt.

Joe, that was my first thought too. After all Steve and H.P. seem to have a unique relationship. How about a 69 Chevelle with the 396.

An electric 32 Ford scaled down to smaller size. I see them advertised in one of my books.

The Trojans (T-105) are 6 volt batteries. Unfortunately they are shot and need to be replaced. They cost about $135.00 each and there are six of them.
I got this so my son and I could have a project to work on together. It is a fixer - upper but it is a really nice one to start with.

OH
BTW:
Damn nice to meet you Joe.
Carrie and I enjoyed the show. We came early and left early before the heat set in. We saw a lot of friends I hadn't seen in a long time.

Steve,
The golf carts I use for work take the 6) 6 volt batteries also, except I think
the last time I got batteries they were about $80/each, but that is here in
Hawaii. I think I got them from Interstate. Maybe those Trojans are super
premium batteries? Should be cheaper on the mainland.
I had mine in Kalaupapa, Molokai while doing a project there and it provided
me with cheap, reliable transportation - even had a pipe rack on it.

The best price I could find for the Interstate batteries are $108.00 each.
I have found some "equivelant" (so they say) at Auto Zone for $79.95 each.
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...hnson+Controls
I don't know if they are the same or not, or if they will even work.
It is my understanding the Trojans are the Rolls Royce of Cart batteries. That is what is in the cart now and they will not hold a charge. Of coarse I don't have to have the Trojans, as long as the others will work properly and not burn out the electric motor. I don't know the answer to that one.
The Trojans are suppose to have more deep cycle(s) than the Interstate(s), but they are still only expected to last 3-5 years. The ones at Auto Zone have a 3 year full replacement warranty. I could replace then twice for what the Trojans cost. If they'll work.

Steve,
If the ones at auto zone are the same size physically so they will fit and have the same amperage rating, they should work as well as any others. Jack sells a lot of those type batteries for the off road vehicles around here and the physical size seems to be the main problem as so many of them are just a little larger than others.
Glad to hear that you got a fun project for you and your son to work on.

Dang, what happened at the show!?!?!?
Was it good, anything cool?
Where are the dang-blasted pictures? Steve! You're laying down on the job.
On a lighter note, we had our first round of canning. We got cherries, blue berries and raspberries. Black Berries should be in 4 weeks or less. New processor takes out everything. I really lost a lot of mass we put up with when we can. So, what would have been near 15 quarts, turned out to be seven.
How everyone else doing??

There were some really nice cars there. It wasn't all cobras.
My wife says she wants the Ferrari, I said babe, me to! I am not sure what model but dang it was nice, and brand spanking new. The white Saleen was nice as well.
