Default I Must Be Getting Old

Just opened up September 2007 issue of Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car.

Inside is an advertisement for a 1975 Ford Mustang II fastback with a prototype Turbo V6 Engine. Stored 20-years and very low mileage. Asking price for it is about $29k.

I had a 1974 Mustang II Mach I with the V6. Somehow, even if the Turbo V6 is legitimate (and to be honest I do not ever remember a Turbo ever being available for that engine), cracked up when I read the asking price. These years were not exactly the pinnacle of power and build quality for Detroit...

Like I said, must be getting old.

Naw, you're not getting old. It is the cars that are getting old. You will be getting old when your 2007 vehicle is just a faded memory.

Yes, you are getting older by the moment, but we all are.

Ron was born before cars, trains, planes and chariots as he tells it.

I do. I was there and have been several times since to see how well it did. One of my better achievements I do believe. Had to wait for all the volcanoes to stop before I could get anything to grow in most places.

Tru,

I wasn't born remember. I was left here by aliens to start populating this planet. I have just misplaced my locator beacon so I can signal them to come take me home.

LOL I thought you would get it pretty quick.

For those who don't know General Sherman is a VERY large Sequoia tree in Sequoia National Park. If I remember correctly it is estimated at 2,800 years old. I also think they say it is the largest living thing on the planet. Not the oldest that goes to another tree ( I forget where) but the largest.

See the link for the oldest tree on the planet at over 4,000 years old.

So that strange pod in the pictures of your back yard really is an escape pod from an alien space craft....I see.
