Rush Smear Letter sets a Record
http://cgi.ebay.com/Original-Harry-R...QQcmdZViewItem
Highest charity bid in ebay history. Reid takes credit for success on Senate floor. Rush MATCHES the bid, and the Senate is challanged to do the same thing. Wonder if those 41 will pony up? I'd give better odds on the 59 who did not sign it matching the bid.
This has got to rank as one of the best things Rush has ever done!

Club Cobra has been VERY indirectly involved in this charity over the years, before Rush became directly involved. The original charity, as I recall, was to support a college fund for the son's and daughters of fallen Marines.
It appears that, with a "push" from Rush, the fund has grown and expanded.
I am 'way behind the curve on this, I always counted on Roscoe to ferret out the truth and report back.
As I do now, the only Marine I ever liked.

The original charity was called "The FBI-USMC Association". I was a member of this way back. The following is printed on the back of my mug:
On November 10th 1970, 4 FBI Agents, each a former Marine, found themselves together at marksmanship training at Camp Smith, NY. To commemorate the special occasion of the Marine Corps Birthday, a cupcake adorned with a lone candle was divided ceremoniously with a saber. This private celebration took place while more elaborate functions occurred throughout the world. From that humble origin the FBI Marine Corps Association began and one of the most unique birthday celebrations in the Corps emerged.
The FBI Marine Corps Association is comprised of over 1000 members representing active duty Marines, former Marines and individuals associated with law enforcement.
All members share a common bond: service to our country as a US Marine and their common desire to rejoice in the brotherhood created during their service in the Corps. They are a living testimony to the Marine expression: "Once a Marine, always a Marine."

thanks mike for the link, I hadn't seen the original letter.
this whole thing wreaks of such hypocrisies, and not by Limbaugh, it truly makes me nauseous.
Do you think they would sign a letter reflecting a similar tragedy?
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/ar...TICLE_ID=53103
In most cases I really couldn't care less about this typical 'controversy,' but Reid seeking kudos for this is truly unconscionable.
asininely laughable.
4.2 mil for a worthy cause, excellent, I just really wish I different way.

Great charity .... but how many of you CC members can say that both of their illustrious Senators signed that document. Well, I have the K twins here in Taxxachusetts.
I'll sell them for a lot less that what the letter fetched on E-Bay.

Inouye and Akaka from Hawaii both signed. Oh the inhumanity of it all.
What else is new - we may be 5,000 miles away (they aren't) but we are
blessed with the same dregs of leadership?

It's Gonna Be Tuff For Youse Outside Of Mass!
Hard to top Jaw(n) Kerry and Sennituh Teddie----but I have GOT to hand it to Dingy Harry Reid----now that PUSTULE is trying to share credit for Rush's marketing triumph.
I honestly cannot believe anyone still holds faith in the foo keen People's Marxist Dumbocrat Pahty of Pandering----how 'bout Polosi's "timliness" on the Turkish genocide?Or that crapulescent doofus who said Bush was letting troops die "for his own amusement"! Just when I thought nothing coming out of the Liberal Petri dish could surprise me----now the Lamp-Throwing Lesbo is ditching Socks, the family cat!*
Update: Rush just aired a parody song based on the Boxtops (?) 1970's hit "My Baby Just Wrote Me a Letter" (?). Hysterical.
*Can't wait 'til the aforementioned Kitty-Ditching B*tch gets (back) into the Oval Orifice. Oh my, are Rush, et al gonna have a field day!
Time to Quack and Quiver----ooooops, I meant Duck, etc. Ar-ar-ar-ar-ar-ooGAH!
