Since I am not a fan of either team. I would love to see 7 games down to the last pitch.

Well Boston came back from their 3-1 deficit and won the league championship. But as hot as Colorado has been they had better not let them get that kind of lead on them in the series.

Moikie, Zeus Bless Ye--
I'm not a basa-baru fan normally----BUTT---I will say that was exciting last night! I am not alone in considering Bahstin one of the greatest sports cities in America, if not the Woild----BUTT (#2)-----veteran Sox fans cannot be holding out too much hope, re the World Series----at least not the ones with any sense of history.....
It might be relevant to note that 7 minutes and 34 seconds after the last out---there were ALREADY seven arrests OUTSIDE Fenway! OUTSIDE the pahk! Yikes!!!

You gotta stop living in the past! And just how many World Series have the Rockies won? Hmmm?
Yes, Boston is a great sports town...no doubt about it. Wish I were there hanging out in the bars while the game was on... what fun!

Mike,
How many series had the Red Sox won when they played their first one? I am a Cardinal fan, but they stunk up the whole baseball world this year after being world champs last year. Never underestimate the power of youth and momentum. If I were betting I would most likely bet on the Red Sox, but I don't think it is a sure thing by any means.

The Red Sox of today remind me (sort of) of the 2004 Red Sox. Kind of a rag-tag team. The BIG plays are coming from the rookies. But the veterans are holding them togther. And Josh Bekett? OMG.
I have not watched the Rockies, so I have no idea.

When you are playing in your "first series", that automatically means you have never won or lost a series.
Ron, The Red Sox won the first 5 out of seven world series ever played when you were middle aged in the early 1900's.
They also just recently won in 2004 while you were asleep.
Colorado will have a lot of "rust" after waiting around.
Red Sox in 6 games.

Warren,
Next to the Yankees, who has won the most World Series? And it doesn't start with a B.
However as I stated before if I were going to bet on the series I would probably bet on the Lucky Sox.

Who cares. I have no idea without doing a Google. I root for the Red Sox first, and/or the American league team in the World Series second.
Just think about it .....
The Red Sox win the world series, the Patriots win the Superbowl (hope a hope), and the Celtic look like a team that will make the playoffs. Now only if we had a hockey team in Boston.
We used to have a team called the Bruins, but since they expanded the NHL league to eighty seven teams with eighty five teams making the playoffs .....

Not me! I've got some friends that live and die based upon various teams. This is the second time I'm typing this ... just downloaded ieSpell and when I clicked on the ABC button the IE explorer asked if I wanted that active X program to run ... and I clicked yes and it wiped out what I typed before I could post it ..... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

What is IE spell? If it is a spell checker then you probably had the first post so messed up it thought you would be better off just starting over.

Warren,
So it is a spell checker. Now you have no more excuses for misspelling words. I have a checker on my Google Tool Bar that works pretty well. I have Kristen to thank for that as she was always pointing out my bad spelling and I got desperate.

Gee Warren,
The Red Sox are playing great and will most likely win it today and you go off to spend your time in the rain. I like your idea of a vacation away from all of that nice weather you have been having.
