I was in Houston from 1994 until 2003 - was there when Andrew (I think it was) put the Katy Fwy underwater... I do miss being there - weather and all.
The leaves change towards the end of Sept in the far north..in the cities..it will be more towards middle of Oct.-- depends upon how cool it gets. It's nice to have bright/crisp days.. |

As for the cold..I grew up in a suburb of Detroit..cold isn't too bad; I can also testify that hockey moms really do wear lipstick...but it's because we cover up the blue lips from the ice arenas being so dang cold..) |
