Talking Thanksgiving Week

I was going to include several other things including a PIG so no one would be offended, but decided the devil with it. I am not giving up all hollidays because of a bunch of whining, as* kissing , politicians trying to get votes. It is early but all of you have a great Thanksgiving and enjoy the days off.

Edited to add another picture that I received in an e-mail.

Fred,

You wouldn't believe how hard it was to get Kristen to pose like that. If Warren is like me, he will eat to much, moan for three days and start over again.

Just saw a news flash on Fox News.

Bush is going to be on TV giving a Pardon to Warren & Kristen.

Even though Bush is giving them a Pardon,he still isn't too happy with them.

Keeps referring to them as a couple of TURKEYS.
No one is disagreeing either !!!

Hope everyone has a safe Thanksgiving...

as for the turkey...well.. from the JennieO turkey farms here in MN....they've had barn fires and the turkeys have revolted and turned over the semi-trucks in hopes of escaping... I suppose we should all be thankful if we have a bird to feast upon.... and honestly, I think the turkey may have had words with Charles M. Schultz - in having Snoopy make a popcorn feast in the 40 yr old. classic....

Enjoy everyone~!

Personally? I would eat the toenail clippings from a leprous goatherd before I would eat turkey.

HAM. Good, honest Hormel spiral-sliced Cure 81.

I'll have a houseful of non-smoking inlaws that LOVE turkey.

I'll be shivering in the breezeway sucking on my pipe and growling as I devour my ham.

Wow Todd, that's brutal. Over the years I've moved to 'honeybaked hams' but, there is still nothing like cold turkey sandwich MMMMMMMM!

Oh, that reminds of something kinda funny. I know a fella who makes headers in his spare time and he flies a lear-jet for honey baked hams. For a couple of years I thought he flew the executives to various meeting and such, well surprise..surprise when I found out he actually flies the 'hams'. Honey baked Hams is located in Georgia and I didn't ask but, I'm guessing they probably have some sort of cooking secret?.

We have a turkey AND a ham for Thanksgiving dinner. Lots of leftovers. I'm hungry ... time for breakfast.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone

Warren,

You just get up and your first thought is of food. Why not fast today and then tomorrow you can really stuff it down? And I too, am having ham, though nothing fancy. And then I will be eating ham sandwiches for a week.

Too late. Just finished my breakfast. 1/4 cantaloupe, a banana, two egg beater Spanish omelet with no-fat cheese, an English muffin, 6 oz of apple juice and black coffee. UMMMMMMMMMM gud Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

To tell you the truth, I cannot eat as much volume of food at one sitting as I used to do before I started eating "healthier" about 5 years ago. But I've never missed a meal

Happy Thanksgiving. Time for a haircut so I can look semi-presentable at the high school football game and at dinner tomorrow. Only about 10 family and friends this year.

I'm normally pretty optimistic but I gave up on a haircut doing that for me a long time ago.

I heard that frogs do not care what you look like, so no problemo.

Well with no hair I don't have that problem. However I did have to take Sweetheart to the hospital and won't get her back until Monday. Not sure what is wrong but one thing seems she has hurt her back, probably from all the jumping, and the past 4 days she has just gotten more and more to where she won't play or do anything. Ken said he could do in-house lab tests and I could bring her home, but they wouldn't be as through as sending the stuff to the regular lab. I was really looking forward to our first holiday together and now she is there and Frenchy is just lost and I feel like jumping off the dam. At least that last part would make several of the people here happy.
Sorry for the long rant, I am just depressed and wanted to say something to see if it will help. All of you have a great thanksgiving.

Ron
