Exclamation Valentines Day Storm Worm

This one is for real and is a version that has been around under many names. See the link to Snopes to see the various things to look for.

Thanks Ron,
I actually got one of those a year or so ago. My viral software captured it seemingly easily though.

AVG has a very good free viral software if anyone is interested. A few years ago I bought the full version and it has saved me many times.

AVG Free Advisor - Free antivirus and anti-spyware downloads

There are several different downloads that do different things, or you can get them from

filehippo.com - Download Free Software

The free versions are good but I do recommend upgrading to the full version. It really does a lot more than the free one does.

More info on that virus that I posted previously.

- - - - - - - - -

If you receive an email entitled "Bedtimes" delete it IMMEDIATELY. Do not open it. Apparently this one is pretty nasty. It will not only erase everything on your hard drive, but it will also delete anything on disks within 20 feet of your computer. It demagnetizes the stripes on ALL of your credit cards. It reprograms your ATM access code, screws up the tracking on your VCR, and uses subspace field harmonics to scratch any CD's you attempt to play. It will program your phone auto dial to call only 898 numbers. This virus will mix antifreeze into your fish tank.

IT WILL CAUSE YOUR TOILET TO FLUSH WHILE YOU ARE SHOWERING. It will drink ALL your beer. FOR GOD'S SAKE, ARE YOU LISTENING? It will leave dirty underwear on the coffee table when you are expecting company. It will replace your shampoo with Nair and your Nair with Rogaine. If the "Bedtimes" message opened in a Windows 95/98 environment, it will leave the toilet seat up and leave your hair dryer plugged in dangerously close to a full bathtub. It will not only remove the forbidden tags from your mattresses and pillows, it will also refill your skim milk with whole milk.

***WARN AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN. ***

And if you don't Tell this to 5000 people in 20 seconds, you'll fart so hard that your right leg will spasm and shoot straight out in front of you, sending sparks that will ignite the person nearest you.

Send this warning to everyone!!!

THERE'S A LOT OF SADNESS IN THE WORLD!

Right now, as you read this, 17 Million people are having SEX!!!

And look at you - you're on the computer!

And reading a post that you just made so obviously you aren't one of the 17 million people either. Of course in your case being the owner of a Turtle I can understand your slowness.

Then you are far faster than I am. I need both hands and still can't get anything spelled correctly. Oh, and in case you think I didn't know what you are implying, I wear glasses to read, but that was caused by looking through strong lighted magnifying glasses back before they had the scopes with monitors. Some days I would feel as if they had pulled my eyes out of my head. And as my nerves get worse, my eyesight is too. Time to start enjoying that one hand I guess.

Steve,

You think that is bad. Try him on trivia questions. He is a walking fountain of useless knowledge.
