What was Ron Paul thinking???
Along with the dumba$$ dems, Ron Paul voted against spy bil???.
WASHINGTON — President Bush said Friday that "our country is in more danger of an attack" because of Congress' failure to extend a law that makes it easier for the government to spy on foreign phone calls and e-mails that pass through the United States.

Paul has said repeatedly that the gov't doesn't have the right to intrude in anybody's privacy...period. A part of his Libertarian stance I suppose. I really like his small gov't. ideas until he pops off with one of these.

For me i have had it with the way it is!!! Clintons had 12 years to fix things, McCain has been in office how many years and nothing accomplished on all the thing's us normal slobs want fixed. I'm a fiscal conservative who believe's in abortion and governemnt out of my bedroom etc.
I know Obama will cost me more money, BUT it's time to mix things up. NO ONE deserve's
to be President as Clinton feels.
OBAMA IN 08

As I think I've mentioned before, Ron Paul is one goofy mofo.
He thinks we got out of Korea.
Well, I've done some detailed meatific analysis, and have come to the conclusion that Ron Paul is Marshall Applewhite, the leader formerly known as Do (not to be confused with Homer Simpson's "d'oh!") of the Heavens Gate Cult.
But ... when you get right down to it, there are similarities (around the 'crazy eyes') between Marshall and a certain chick candidate, too:
Oh yeah, and don't forget the similarities between these two, either:

I liked Ron Paul at first, especially his record on taxes and congressional pay raises - but the more I learned the more he looked like an idiot... anyway, bein' from arkansas I have to pull for Huck as much as I can - but we all know what a chance he has. We just got to get Mac off the fence (and on the RIGHT (not left) side of it) and hope Billary has a heart attack or something. I don't even want to comment on bugga bomma...

There is absolutely NO reason whatsoever to vote for Ron Paul.
And America knows it; out of 1,349 possible delegates, Paul has 16.
Sixteen.
Maybe if he'd run as what he REALLY is, then I'd have much more respect for him (which would have raised the amount to zero respect). But he chose to run on a Republican ticket, which is a flat-out lie; he's not a Republican.
Neither is McCain.
I can only hope that we can force Newt into the race at the RNC.
You're right, he isn't what Republicans are, but he is what they were. And you're right, most amerikans are so fuqqin socialist, they would have fought for the British in 1776.
Ron Paul isn't perfect, but he's a lot better than than the other three, who are all on the same team, the CFR... Don't know what that is???
Honestly, I would have thought that CC, where people drive cars without airbags, that fly in the face of government regulations, would have been a bastion of libertarianism, but, I can see that the 'nuke the sand nigerians til they glow for your own safety' bull$hit (whereby the banks that fund the arms dealers, and the governments that steal liberty in the name of safety both win) has even taken hold here. It's all right there guys and gals. SB100 and car title problems just scratches the surface. Bend over.
But, you're right. Only 16 delegates get it.
Today.

And so it is, but to many a varying degree. Most Alphas set there own course with a fierce streak of independence so it gets hard to form a group statement on just about anything or anyone. I like Paul, but I also believe he has zero chance of governing if he were elected. As the libertarians figured out long ago...local elections first, Congress second, White House last.

I put links for support and clarification, not to throw out "enough crap and throw a bunch of crap out there, link to Youtube, and then attack anyone who disagrees with them. About like their candidate."
You mean like, "As I think I've mentioned before, Ron Paul is one goofy mofo."?
Regarding his platform, about what do you disagree, and why?
Because, "He thinks we got out of Korea"?- Jamo
No, but he thinks we should get out of Korea. (That "war" ended 50 years ago). He thinks those soldiers should defend our borders not S. Korea's. I agree. Don't you?
BTW, I agree that he'd have a hard time governing, absent the people holding their Reps. accountable and holding their feet to the fire, or, if he could just clone himself 535 times. Too much graft. If it were only about who gets the new roads, (Republican districts in Republican governments, or Democrats for Democrats) I wouldn't be active, as I haven't been since 1968, when I mistakenly believed that Nixon would undo what Johnson did. (War on Poverty- (i.e. worsening of Welfare Nation), Vietnam (Nixon killed 30,000 more to "withdraw with honor"), etc.
So, back to the facts (not the fact that he is shrill and you don't care for his supporters (my) style), if you know his issues and platform, about what part do you disagree?

Sorry Doc (CSX 4039), I deleted my post well before you responded. You must have been thinking real hard on it. I hate it when folks delete posts after someone responds...but thinking about it for several minutes, I came to the realization I would be arguing with a died in the wool, genuine Ron Paul supporter and probably be drawn in to a discussion of whatever constitutes the goofy mofo' "platform."
And then I thought of the new magazine I still had to read...in the rack next to the toilet, and I just weighed the choices I had for spending the next hour or so...
...I feel light and airy now.
See, it's not his platform or what he says in most instances...he's just a goofy mofo. I don't vote for goofy mofos...never have.
BTW...the Korea comment came straight from the last debate where he was talking about how a Republican got us out of Korea. I guess I listen to the goofy mofo mo betta than you do.
Okay, fair enough. Actually, I was syncing my daugthers iPod.
But, I can't figure you out....
Being an attorney on the left coast, who defends labor unions, if you vote your demographics, that would put you well to the left of Jimmy Hoffa and Eleanor Roosevelt's love child.
But, the Morton Downey, Jr. aspects of you suggests otherwise.
So, ball's in your court. if you choose to vote for one of the three-
Juan McCain, Barack Bin Laden, or Hillary (vote for change?!?!) Clinton, for whom would you vote?
And, if you could have anyone be POTUS, who would you choose? (Serious choice- not REAL 1, Brent, or casaleenie).
No debate from me... I'm just trying to figure you out.
