Thumbs down Shoot The Dam Protesters

This crap is way out of hand. And this will be the 4th time this has happened here and all by out of state As* HOL**.

From todays paper; Protest Set for Munns Funeral: This was the main headline for crying out loud.

Part of the article: A religious group is planning a protest and picketing at Saturdays funeral for Joshau Munns who was kidnapped and murdered in Iraq. Shirley Phelps-Roper, a spokesperson for HER FATHER'S TOPEKA KANSAS BABTIST CHURCH said Wednesday that they plan to picket and protest at the Anderson funeral of Munns as it was Gods punishment for him serving in Iraq. My Words: How can these AS* HOL** call themselves religious and travel all over the dam country doing this. How do they think it makes the peoples families feel to see a bunch of Screwed Up Nut Cases claiming to represent God doing this at their son's and daughter's funerals. And they aren't even from this state. The state needs money, why not start selling hunting license for protesters and paying a bounty for each one disposed of. No matter what I thought of a war or anything else I would not do something this disgusting and stupid at anyone's funeral. And I sure as He** would not travel all over the country to get on TV doing it. And I do intend to write the local paper about their lack of taste and intelligence in making this the main headline on page 1. Now all of you that like to protest everything that comes along and have never gotten off your butts to do anything for this country can have at me over this. I don't give a Dam what you think. This is even below Al Gore unless they can generate enough TV time to make it worth his while.

She is a complete wack job. They came here to protest a soldiers funeral in Dallas a couple of years ago. One of his family members is part of the local Mustang board and he called for help. Several hundred people showed up to stand in between the protesters and the funeral. We made it so that the family did not have to see the picket. Holding signs in front of their signs saying thank you for your sacrifice and such.

There was another incident where I saw video that the family turned on them and they fled. By the time they got in the van and tried to drive away, the windows were smashed and the van was pretty beat up. I have said for years that sooner or later they are going to come across the wrong person. A person in mourning is not a person to mess with. Emotions will overcome even the coolest of heads at times like that.

Sounds good to me.

I'm not much for standing in line for anything, but that's one line I will join to get my tag.

Only one question. Do they have to be dead before I gut them?

Very similar to what we did, but much larger scale.

Joe,

All of those are good videos. Not much on the news right now. We are having our week or so of near perfect weather right now. Soon it will be in the 110+ range.

Not sure what I'd do if one of my sons died and these people showed up.

Does a MAC lock open upon the last round, or does it have to be recocked after the last round to rechamber?

That may be the group I found the video of, very cool, and I especially loved how they revved their engines to drown out the chants.

My Wife's stepdad is a big goldwing fan. Him and my mother in law go with the local bike club to help out. They've riden up to 500 miles to lend a hand so people can have their chance to mourn without these idiots. Which is worse? The fact that they've lost a child/father/son/wife/daughter/mother etc or the fact they they can't rest in peace?

I just don't understand why these people think they have any right to disrupt the funeral of someone who died for them.

Link,

Thanks for the link. Sounds like a good group. To bad they can't accidentally run down some of these idiots that claim to be Christians from some church. Then go protest at their funeral and see how they like it. At least they could have the decency to stay in their own state.

If it weren't for the cops protecting their 'rights' I am sure thaere would have been bloodshed by now. Screwing around with a family burying a son or daughter is asking to get shot or run over. Serve 'em right.
Love to see somebody do a drive by like in the original Blues Brothers movie....

These people aren't Nazis. Just ask them and they will proudly show you their badges of which church they are from. Real Christians who can quote and twist the Bible to mean whatever they want it to mean. I would like to have one of those Super Squirters that you could fill with Mace and just drive by and spray the whole group. Maybe then they would go back to their own state.

Way back in the day, my family owned a farm of about 600 acres. one of my first real 'jobs' was driving a tractor that pulled a rig full of cow crap mixed with water and God only knows what else to fertilize the fields....it would spray this mess about 60-100 yards on both sides of the tractor as you drove it about---upwind.
What a YouTube video that would make......
The nazi comment was a scene in the movie where the BBrothers drive thru a meeting of Nazis on a bridge...funny stuff.

I knew about the Nazi comment as I watched the Blues Brothers movie also. Really enjoyed it. As for the Manure spreader, I have pulled them in New York State when I was working on a big dairy farm there. And as you said, they could create a mess. Especially when I got up on one to remove a rock and fell face down into it.

Now that sucks. Never did a faceplant in one, but I can imagine. Pulled them behind open tractors enough growing up.

Which dam are the protestors protesting? Hoover?

Wow Meat,

You do have a sense of humor don't you. Protesting the closure of Shasta Dam doesnt get as much TV time as making asses of themselves at servicemens funerals. The darn media is as bad as they are.
