That was good. A very well trained horse and the music was right for the scene.

Great animals...a lot of maintenance. Even if you just water and feed them, it is work.

I've had both, not sure which is more trouble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sold the horse many moons ago and filled in the pool 4 years ago, two best things I ever did..............
When my daughter was growing up, she wanted a horse, I told her the rule at MY house was very simple,"If it eats, you CAN'T have it".........at 22 years old now, she understands what I meant back then...........

Bill,
You are a glutton for punishment owning that many of each. I just have 2 small dogs and they keep me busy.

My wife runs the ranch. The Macaw i wouldn't part with for love or money. The only problem i have is when it comes time to sell the kids.We just had a lady buy our next mini who "still in the box" based on interacting with the mare for 20 minutes..But if we kept everything that was cute,we'd have a pile of fur you could see from Shasta.

Bill, that was great. I damn near cry every time I hear that song anyway, so it's use in that ride was even mo betta.
Grew up with horses...percherons mostly. We would get them from the retirement ranch up in the hills near Porterville...where the Disney, Knotts and other entertainment horses would go...to use for work. See, in the old days, we would use them to plow in between staked tomatos (before someone developed highboy tractors with elevated chassis to over the stakes). they were so used to kids touching them as they pulled carriages down Main Street USA that tomato plants wouldn't spook them (knocking over one row in the middle of a few hundred acres of staked tomtos is one of the bestest assamples of the domino effect you would ever witness).
I used to run them bareback for exercise and to/from the fields...a percheron at gallop is the BB of horses.
BTW...two labs, 11 cats, one bunny, a pairing of foxes by the creek out back that munch out of the cat food bowls, opposums and one smartass raccoon and her family making raids into the cat food bags in the garage every week or so. Everyone gets along, although the smaller animals haven't quite understood lab humor yet.

You should see "Macaw humor" especially with a beak that can generate 1200 psi.
