Question Where Is The Delete Account Option

I have searched through my control panel and can't find a Delete Account option. Does this site not have one or am I just missing it?

Edit: I don't intend to delete my account but I have seen it and used it on a couple of other sites that I didn't enjoy and just got to wondering if there was one here.

Thanks,

Ron

I think Jamo has that button.
Really, I am glad you aren't shopping to leave us...we'd just have to hunt you down anyway and move in next door.

Actually what made me wonder about it was that last week I quit a sports site that I hardly ever go to and they had a delete account option which I used and it just deleted everything about me and any posts that I ever made. I was in my CP re-activating my e-mail through the club now that AT&T finally got off their butts and took the block off. A few had tried to e-mail me during that time and I never got them of course so I took that option off my profile until they opened it up again. I was just checking my other options while I was in there and happened to think about I had never seen that option, but I have seen it on some other sites. Jamo is going to have to kick me off if I go.

Ron...just check with the admin/mods at the other sites. Sites are not all the same.

Thanks Jamo. I hadn't even seen or thought about it until I decided to quit that sports site and was deleting some pictures and happened to go into my CP to block the e-mail and PMs and I was going to notify a moderator to delete the account. I haven't looked in my CPs on other sites as once I put the information in I hardly ever go back unless it is for some odd reason like here to put my e-mail back on-line.

Ron,
I did the same thing for an E-commerce forum I frequent. With sites like www.Zoominfo.com I am not sure I want all the personal info to be so readily available.

I am not hiding behind a keyboard as most everyone knows who I really am. But you never knows who lurks on the other end of the monitor. It is for that very reason I took my last name off of the signature line. If I googled my own name CC would come up with many of my post. That just made it to easy.

Dang. Ron, you can't go and get Warren all excited and all.

When you leave, can I have your avatar?

Tru,

You can have all of my avatars. I know I am bad for Warren. I get him all excited and then I stick around. Notice how his posting has gone down lately?

He's cooking. His posts alway go down until after he has cooked so he can tell us about the food.

That or he is out driving.

Oh, yea I had forgotten that he had posted he was going to have to go shopping as he was out of food. And gourmet cooking does take time.

Warren,

Are you sick? Hope not. We are having another sunny day but the wind is blowing and that keeps it kind of cool plus all the pollen in the air makes it bad for people with sinus problems.

Sick?

only between the ears.

Darn it all. Its sunny outside and 65°F. Guess I'll have to go thru the drudgery of moving my daily driver out of the driveway and take the Cobra for a ride.

Why me? hehehehehehe

He will need to be Popeye when Fred gets Biker Babe there to stay with him. Forget the refrigerator and put in a walk in freezer. He will need it to store enough food for a day or so.
