awesome, Josh! you're getting here, step by step.
Haven't heard from Gregg. He did post yesterday that that was his last day there.
I'm guessing ya'll must not have found each other???
too bad if you didn't, but maybe sometime 'stateside' ya'll can make it to a mutal event.
He is a very positive and vital force in the Texas Club. He was missed this year, and a special toast was made to him at our Spring Meet Annual Luncheon.
hurry home, Gregg!
welcome home (almost!) Josh!!
Kristen

Great news Josh! You'll have two of lifes most exciting moments shortly. The first one is wheels up as you depart; the second is touch down back here in the world. If you can keep your eyes dry, you're more of a man than me!
Stay in touch.

HAHA well, I'm home safely! This is the first I've been online since my last post! I think thta is a new record for me!! I got home around 4am last saturday, 5 hours to spare before the test! Then, around 11pm saturday night, i jumped in the truck and started the looooong trip to oklahoma. Stopped in columbus and dropped off my stroker kit to it's new owner and picked up a new trailer for the race car. Got down to oklahoma sunday evening. Packed up my junk, got the race car and sand rail on the trailer and hung out with some friend for a few days. Got back on the road thurday morning and turned an 18 hr trip into a 24 hour trip when we lost a wheel on the trailer.... twice before we even got on the highway in oklahoma!!!! I ended up going to all the parts stored in chandler, ok to get just enough longer studs to make the trailer a little safer for the trip home. 4 hours later, wee weere on the road again. I drove straight through and at about 6am sunday morning I hit one of those crater sized pot holes in cleveland on I271 and blew a tire on the trailer. Of course, where are you going to find a tire at 6am, so we had to limp the trailer 4 miles to the next exit, in a construction zone, at rush hour, to get the tiree off. FINALLY got home around 11 friday morning after being awake for over 24hrs straight.. Iwas beat!!! Things are GREAT!!!! I love this country!!! It took me over 2 hours yestereday to mow half my yard!! I have one wicked farmers burn!! Note to self, no more flip flops when mowing!!! The tops of my feet are fried!!!
Just a few more days till I win the cobra at LCS!!!

Yea, but your HOME and Safe and with your family now. Nothing else matters.
And besides aren't you happy your feet got sunburned while mowing your own yard?
Thanks for the update Josh.

Welcome back and a million thanks.
Did you (or Gregg) bring this Iraqi vehicle home with you? Probably gets great gas mileage.

Josh,
Darn it is great to hear that you are safely home and that everything is going so well. Thanks to you and all of the others over in that crap hole we can all have the best lives on the planet. Believe it or not, you will get organized eventually. Good luck in the race and keep posting as you have time.

Warren,
Tis is one of the funniest ones yet. Diesel at $5.00 a gallon it won't be long and this will be reality.
Glad your home safe Josh. Thanks so much for your service to America.
