WAY OT: Any Revolutionary War or Civil War collectors here?

As posted on ffcobra, it was suggested that I post it here as well.


Won't get in to the long story, suffice to say I had a debt paid to me from an old employer with a Rev War Musket. I've heard values ranging anywhere from $4,200-$13,000...


Without sending me off to as yet another long rifle related forum (been there, done that, most of those guys are into building reproductions, or offering me as a newbie $1,500 for "that old musket"), anyone have any ideas where to list (Ebay no longer allows firearms of any type) or sell such an item?

Anyone here possibly interested in such an item? I'm tired of tripping over it in my closet (wrapped and stored properly mind you, but still in my way) and it's about time for me to clean house again as there may be another move (TBD) in our future..........
