Tru
You got to start reading all of the posts. I "thought" that Mike had done an Ironman, but he said no.

I have never run an Iron Man... can't stand the swimming part. I did make it half way across Tenessee this year. Thus my signature.

OMG. Maybe that is why he got laid off. Hey Tru, how's the job hunting going? Anything on the horizon?
Regarding sleeping on the job. About 10 years ago, I was at a boring meeting with about 20 engineers and I was sitting next to my boss (we worked in the marketing dept). All of a sudden I woke up as my boss nudged me in the ribs and softly said "If you are going to sleep thru this boring meeting, at least stop snoring!". I'll always remember that comment.
This one is for Fred.

Had a 3rd level manager fall asleep in a crowded meeting and farted so loud he woke himself up.

Warren,
Looks like we need a Motivational Poster for the "fell asleep in a meeting crowd"
I have never done it, but I have to admit I have come very close.

You sound like you don't have much faith in Dell Tech Support.
I think they did alright.I got almost a complete new ( FREE ) Dell when they could have just replaced the on/off switch and gone on their merry way.
BTW It has been 25 years since I last totaled a car.
