As was quoted....Yet another reason to dismiss this inexperienced over ambitious seriously dissonant candidate.

The old soft shoe dance of a true politician. Do not answer the question, but baffle 'em with a big bunch of bull$hit.
He is very good when speaking to a crowd. But when he is asked a question, he reacts like a deer frozen by headlights. Similar to a lawyer who knows his client is guilty - attack the other person.
And if you never answer a question directly, you can never be accused of doing a ......

So does that mean flip flopping is a bad thing?

It is like lying. If he keeps flip flopping over everything they ask him then just what would he do. I don't think even he knows as he can't seem to answer a direct question. I watched one of his interviews with the Democrat Network, ( CNN ), and even they got frustrated as he seemed like a child with stage fright and talked for 30 minutes and never did answer a single question they asked, even with their prompting him on what they wanted him to say. He was stuttering and him hawing around as if he was completely lost. The teleprompter must have been broken and he didn't have anything to read to tell him what to say.

Exactly Ron, on his very last debate with hillery, it was obvious he was very frustrated. Shortly after that he said there would be no more debates.

Thanks for making us all feel better there Ron!

Nevermind65,
That is exactly what I am saying. I don't care for any of the people that we have running for office much any more. But this guy and his wife are really to much. If you had watched that interview I posted about on CNN, even you would have to admit he acted like a lost child. But I have to give him credit for one thing. He can talk all day and not answer a question.
Just think what a unique experience it would be if for just once during our lifetimes we could have a candidate from any party that would run based on what they have did and not keep harping about all the bad things all of the others have did and trying to hide their own back grounds. If you like him, that is great and your right. I would just like to vote for a person once that I actually think is good and not who I think is the least bad of the worst.

He is scary!
Hope all those uninformed folks (libs.) will be happy with an un american president, that doesn't have clue.
He will drag us down even further with higher taxes and numerous bulls*** programs.
What a dumb thing to say to our troops, "30'000 more troops will result in improvements on the ground, but it really was a result of other factors that caused conditions to improve". My qoute is not word for word but that's what I got out of his coments.
He is such a dog!

McCain has certainly done his share of flip-flopping as well. And I've seen him do interviews as well where his answers are just smoke and mirrors to obscure the fact that he never even got close to answering the question.
Of course, since McCain is with the GOP his flipflops and dodges will be overlooked by most on this forum...
And McCain has been making a whole helluva lot of false claims about Obamas tax plans. Neither of these guys deserves any of our votes.

Steve,
I am not a great fan of McCains either. As I stated, just once I wish we could have a candidate from either office that would answer a question and run on what they have did and not spend all their time dodging questions and pointing out the other peoples faults. But Obama and his wife scare me more than McCain does. I wish Powell would run but he has to much intelligence to get mixed up in this mess.

Other than being elected to the US Senate, what exactly has Obama done? Well, Barack Obama has missed 277 votes (44.3%) during the current Congress! Cannot be blamed for anything if you do not participate.
All flash, but no core values. (Excuse me, his values are exactly what the Democratic majority thinks ... if and when he does vote on any bill.)
While he was a state senator (1996 to 2004), Barack Obama was faced with a difficult vote in the Illinois legislature in 1999 — to support a bill that would let some juveniles be tried as adults, a position that risked drawing fire from African-Americans, or to oppose it, possibly undermining his image as a tough-on-crime moderate.
In the end, Mr. Obama chose neither to vote for nor against the bill. He voted “present,” effectively sidestepping the issue, an option he invoked nearly 130 times as a state senator.
Gee, when and if he is elected President (OMG No), when faced with a difficult decision, will he stick his head in the sand, or will he try to hide in a closet?

"Still, here are a couple that took me about 30 seconds to find. I really got a chuckle over his body language in the Viagra one. And notice how he makes it about the vote, rather than what his opinion is. If he votes on an issue shouldn't he know what he thinks about it?"

I beg to differ....the difference with this babbling idiot is that he will rob the working American blind to feed, clothe and house those who choose not to work, and this new babbling idiot will have a majority in both houses of Congress (for at least 2 years) to help him do it.
I was dining with a friend last night (a professor of history at UT) and he and I are both scared s*itless about BO and his agenda. At the end, my pal reminded me of the Emperor theory...in the long run even a bad emperor (Caligula) is a good thing because he 'educates' the electorate and weeds out all the syncophants who follow him in adoration. I think if BO is elected, it will be a disaster for the liberal Dems (long run) just as Carter was, and hopefully he will drag some of the other scum (Harry Reid, Waxman, Pelosi) with him. But hey, I'm an optimist!

You Nailed it!
The scum will go down but not until more damage is done.
It's hard to believe that in this day and age so many people are willing to abdicate their personal intelligence and responsibility to such a group of idiots. They are being lead around by their noses and off the cliff. BAH...BAH...BAH.... what sheep!

And one problem is this has gone on so darn long that people are tuning out anything that could mean something if any of his writers knows of anything. I really fear that idiot will be elected and then we will have no leadership at all, as the Congress is controlled by such Einstein's as Pelosi and her group that needs to add all of their IQs together to be legally an Idiot.
