Online fax

Anyone know of a good online fax software?. Is it better than a fax machine?.
I have a good scanner/printer and sure would like to toss this old fax machine.

I have not used it in a long time but it might be worth looking into.

We use www.myfax.com in the home office. Inexpensive, and no problems. We used it with our all-in-one because we didn't want to run another phone line.
