I guess it depends on whether or not the cat was on it's 9th life when it pissed on the keyboard.

Honey, I have bad news about the Kitty. Today, a mountain lion came into our house and tried to kill me. Your Kitty sacrificed her life for me. It was a horrible fight, and I tried to intervene, but the mountain lion was too strong. Just as I was losing consciousness, Kitty charged the interloper and drove it off into the lumber that we all cherish. Baby girl, I promise to carve a kitty likeness from our beloved timber for you. But, this one won't be able to leak upon the keyboard.

The keyboard covers work wonders. I have had them on my keyboards for years and you order them made to fit whichever keyboard that you have. The c-t pee would have just ran off onto your keyboard shelf with one of them.

However, and I am sorry for this, it is funny.
