Mike,
So what do you think of Miss CA possibly getting her crown taken away because of her topless photos?
Personally, I'm all in favour of more boobs, but it looks like she did violate the rules.

I saw the pic last night. Nice curve - I hope it is real (or original)
Looks to me like it is revenge for her comment, but she did lie about not posing topless. It's too bad.

S'pose so...Hilton's probably having a hissy fit thinking about loose boobies.
Rules is rules...Vanessa Williams found out the hard way.

Look 'jeeze' (aka vrm), my galoshes only go up to my knees, if you continue to spread it so thick, at least let me know so I can get some waders.

Go ahead. I'm curious to see how I managed to piss in Perrys spaghetti.
Unless you (or Perry) are one of those uptight Christian/Muslim types who need to make sure that all the boobs in the world are covered up. Then it makes a bit more sense, though it is rather tragic.

If 'anyone' can make sense out of this, please do.

Change of direction.
I saw an article today on Fox News about potential time travel:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,519130,00.html
And after reading it I looked up one of the research articles:
http://arxiv.org/ftp/gr-qc/papers/0610/0610015.pdf
And it reminded me of the movie "Contact" with Jodi Foster.
I could not find a video showing the machine they built, but it reminds me of what is being talked about in the article and paper.

The point is, if they are measuring accelerations, and the accelerometers are not moving (real lab stuff) then space must be moving! This is good stuff!

Mike,
That is cool. I love me some good science stuff. I always have been interested in space and time travel. No so much in going back in time, but altering time to assist travel.

Time and space are one of my favorite things also. I saw some time back ion one of the Science Journals where for just a few seconds they had created a small Black Hole in a lab. Haven't seen any more about it since but have been watching. I also saw where that space probes they sent to look for Earth like planets has found two which are larger but seem to have a very close atmosphere to Earth and one of them seems to have oceans. They have to wait for another 6 months or so until the probe is in an area to verify the preliminary reports it sent back.

Ron,
Do you have a link to that? I had not heard about the possible oceans. I would like to read it.

I would like a link to Ron... I have no idea what your are referring to (which mission). Seriously, I do not think we have any probes out there doing this mission you are talking about.
Now, if only I could figure out how to use this "force" to make the whole state of Tennessee fly by me on my third attempt at Vol-State (July). It is my second attempt solo.

Mike,
I don't have a link to it but it was in the paper here and on the news page of my home page some time back and there is a probe that was launched several years ago toward one of the closer areas they thought may have Earth like planets in it. I will see if I can find it , but I remember the pictures of the scientists standing around cheering and saying they thought they may locate 1 Earth type but 2 was beyond anything they had hoped for. And as I said, they will have to wait for some time until that probe is in a location that they can verify their first data.

Joe & Mike,
Here is a link to the page that will give you several other links to read about. I did have it incorrect about a probe as they are using a telescope right now. But they have found one planet and possible two that are considerable larger than Earth. I still think in one of the stories that I read a few days ago they said something about a probe that was launched just for this purpose.
