What happened? Accident? Sickness?
Man, that's awful. I didn't hang out enough in the Lounge to know. My goodness.

That's unnerving.
I hope someone was with him so he didn't go alone.

Without a doubt I miss Warren as much as anyone on CC.He was such a wonderful, funny, unique person and was all a friend should be.
I think I am past the deep sadness when I think of him.
I now see him smiling and still helping others.I do talk to him and ask him along on rides. There are quite often times I do feel his presence and I always feel as if he is telling me he is alright.
Thoughts of Warren now make me feel good.

Same here Fred. The deep sadness is gone and it left a good place to escape to in its place. Whenever I am having a hard day all I have to do is think of Warren saying that work is a bad 4 letter word and I smile, His other comments start coming through and I relax, and get through what I need to with a better attitude. That is what he was always able to do to me and I am glad I can still get the benefits just thinking of him.

ahh... hadn't been on here in a while to see the posts. thanks ya'll for making me feel 'not alone!' I still miss him, am still sad, but guess i'll be less sad over time. I LOVE the pic of him in the Cobra as Santa. best picture of him.
I was wondering if i could maybe babysit turtle. hmmmm........
i really liked his ability to tell things like they were- if you were acting like a jerk, he told you. if you needed advice or resources, he'd be first to help. He loved a nice pic of a lovely lady.....
ok. thereya go. thanks for the perking up. K

The last infomation I have was Warren was found in a chair. He had a heart attack.
A family member will retain the SPF. I do not know about any of the other things Warren shared with us. I suppose you all could contact the family and ask.

His niece told me that Turtle was going to stay with the Cobra. They want to keep the things he really cared for together. I think it is great that the family is going to finish the restoration of his 442 as a tribute to him.

It's been a little over a year. I still really miss Warren. Anyone know how the restoration on the 442 is coming?

Mick,
The last that I heard they were working on it as they had time. But that was quite a while back. Fred may be able to tell us more.

Tru,
I received an e-mail from Debbie yesterday. She was leaving on a business trip and said she would check on some things when she got back and let me know.

Hehehe...I bet Warren's giggling his ass off about becoming the "Generalissimo Franco" of Club Cobra.
No disrespect in any way and it would be good to know what's happening with the "10" (4+4+2=...) which is how I would refer to that thing when we'd talk. I truly miss him as much as anyone (not many folks quote me as part of their sig line)...enough to know he would still want us laughing with him even if he was the subject of the humor.

As soon as I hear anything I will post it for all to read. Funny how you and Warren referred to the 4-4-2. When we talked we referred to it being in 442 pieces and he was always going to start putting them together.

That's what I'd call it...told him that's what our local nickname was for them. He'd tell me that it sure was no "10" in the condition it was in.

Jamo, Would it be possible to have a "Warren" section on CC in his honor. Kinda like the Lounge but where one can post funny pics & topics & such? ....A Laugh/Humor section
Thanks,
