Default Stupid Does Hurt

Gasoline-Huffing Man Bursts Into Flame After Being Tased
By Dan Nosowitz, on Tue, 21 Jul 2009 00:40:00 -0

An Australian man burst into flames after a policeman hit him on the bridge of the nose with his Taser. Sound ridiculous? Not so much if you know the man was arrested on suspicion of huffing gasoline.

The man pretty immediately went up in flames, and the officer, recognizing that a man becomes significantly less dangerous once he's on fire , went to the suspect's aid, patting him all over (and getting burned himself) to quell the flames. While the officer tried to help the flammable man, he was hit by rocks thrown by a young woman also on the scene, also presumably high or stupid or both. Both the man and woman, as well as two others, were charged with sniffing a prohibited substance, and the young woman was charged with throwing rocks at a policeman. [ Daily Telegraph ]

Nothing that you can buy in a grocery store or anywhere else hasn't been used to get high by some idiot. I really liked one of the Darwin Award candidates. He was an alcoholic, didn't have any booze so he drank a quart of gasoline. That made him sick and he ran over to the fire place and threw up. House blew up and two less limited brain cells to reproduce.

Hey, here is a common Stupid event that actually happens quite often.

I worked for a large natural gas utility in Southern California, went on numerous emergencies and conducted many investigations as to why and how the damm house blew up.
Most of the time a person was attempting to commit suicide by turning on the gas burners ( no flame) and letting the gas sufficate him or her in a closed up kitchen.
Well, after awhile the stupid person got bored just sittin there waiting to die from the effects of the gas and decided to have one last cigerette.
BOOM!

Most of the time they didn't die...just got blown out of the ktichen....BOOM!

To read about just how dumb some people can be go to the Darwin site and read some of the things that have been submitted. I do that to get to read something that isn't all politics and he said she said stuff.

I don't know if you'd call this stupid or the most unlucky person ever...

Many years ago my sister worked in the records dept of Lakewood hospital outside Cleveland. One fellow was treated in the emergency room for tearing off his eyelid. The story given was that he caught it in the garage door while trying to open it.

Then there was the 37yr old man who had a chubby for three days... His Mother brought him in.

Yet another ruptured his nutsack with a vacuum cleaner...

This kind of stuff makes the skateboarders allmost seem intelligent.
