Default Wrong Way Driver kills 8

This has been all over the news in the NY/NJ area for days. The driver drove the wrong way and ended up in a head on crash. Turns out she was drunk and high!

Her husband contends that she did not have a drinking or drug problem and she was a model mom. Toxicology report says she was 2 1/2 time the legal limit and smoked weed about an hour before the crash.

Hard to dismiss the toxicology report. Is he clueless or in denial or am I missing something. Why would you make a statement to the public discounting an autopsy and toxicology report!

How the he** did they get her reports back so soon? How long has it taken to get MJ's reports back? Or have they yet? Didn't they say that it takes months to get a report back or is that only for special people.

There talking about exhuming her body, I presume for additional tests. Not just the husband, friends, associates have also stated she didn't drink, they have never seen her drunk or use drugs. She was supposed to have smoked pot within 15 minutes of the accident. She had been driving for about an hour with KIDS in the car so she what? Pulled over a rest stop and smoked a joint without the kids knowing? Smoked in front of them? What?

Something fishy going on, I'm not sure what to make of it. Indeed, maybe she was a closet drinker/smoker? Better do some more tests, you KNOW the law suits are coming!

The autopsy found undigested alcohol in her stomach. There was a broken bottle found in her minivan?

Something does sound fishy but it does not look good??????

That sounds very strange. Liquids in the stomach generally are only there for a very short period of time. It is why you feel the effects of a shot within a few minutes after drinking it. Undigested would imply she was drinking from the bottle while driving...or it was put there after the fact.

How do you get a autopsy done that fast?

There is nothing like intrigue to stir the mind.

The speed they got the autopsy test back is unusual. Around here it takes at least 3 to 4 days at best and maybe 2 days if it is a rush thing. I believe the only way they would get one done so fast here is if they thought there was something in the body that might vanish after so many hours. As for the rest, it is hard to know who is telling the truth.

The family (and their attorney) was on TV and they maintain that she was not a big drinker and never did drugs. However she had been driving for something like 4 hours for what should have been, a 1 hour trip. One of the kids had phoned home just before the accident saying that her aunt (the driver) was lost, was confused, and was having problems speaking. Also she had driven the wrong way for several miles before the accident occurred so she was really screwed up as it appears that she had no idea what she was doing. This all sounds very strange.

How the **** could the attorney claim she never did drugs!

They were asked if they thought the autopsy was wrong and/or if they planned on getting another autopsy done. They would not / did not / could not answer with a straight yes or no.

They also claimed that she and her husband were very light drinkers and they carried the same bottle of vodka all summer just in case they decided to have a drink. They added that they did not know if the vodka bottle found at the scene of the accident belonged to them or may have just been on the ground. It is all very strange.

The family is suggesting the driver used ambisol for a tooth problem. This may have lead to a false positive.

I know how crazy I get when I have a little ambisol!

Reports also say she was trying to score some pain killers at a convenience store a few hours before the crash.

She might have been a closet drinker/alcoholic? Some of those folks are exceptionally good at hiding it from family and friends for years. That sure doesn't explain the marijuana thing though, that part is a real head scratcher.
