Default Obamacare Meltdown

Obamacare Meltdown

The revelation last week that a majority of Americans may actually disagree with the President was something for which his team was clearly not prepared. Their attempt to marginalize citizens across the country who dared to speak out against a government-takeover of health care is shameful, arrogant, and desperately sad.

With the American people growing increasingly unhappy with the President’s health care plan, Democrats in Congress are working feverishly to cast those who are concerned as radical props to the special interests. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, in a sign of bold leadership, last week told reporters that protests of government-run health care were “phony” and “staged.” He stepped up to a microphone holding a piece of artificial sod and declared that the nationwide dissent was but a marketing ploy, just “Astroturf.” White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs called the movement “manufactured.”

"When implemented, the complete lives system produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between roughly 15 and 40 years get the most substantial chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get chances that are attenuated" ---Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, Chief health-care policy adviser to President Barack Hussein Obama
______

I hope the Democrats continue to anger the public. They are showing their true colors in a manner the corrupt media cannot protect them.

What was "transparent" and staged was obummers 'town haul' meeting. A half dozen rows of people behind him applauding and cheering his every word. Not even a frown in sight. And the 'opposition' was hard pressed to lob a few underhand softballs at him.
He talked of rumors and misinformation. It exists, ON BOTH SIDES!
What is not rumor or misinformation is the simple FACT that 46,000,000. more people are not going to be covered for LESS MONEY. The liberal proposal should have people rolling in the aisles laughing. More coverage, less money, by the Government! It SHOULD be funny.

What obummer can't seem to realize what is wrong with the 'health care reform' bill. What is wrong is TARP, The stimulus, The finance bailout, the auto bailout, cap 'n' trade, 2 wars, sub prime mortgages, unemployment, the economy, cash 4 clunkers, the housing market, the National debt, and the demonizing of anyone or anything that dares disagree with his highness.

Our plates are full, GO AWAY!

Corporate Shills! there's no lengths you will not go to deceive the American public, for what? corporate profits, and if you align your selves with these idiots shouting down these town hall meeting, then it's clear what this is about, and it has nothing to do with healthcare, they don't want a discussion, they want to stop any discussion. So who is really like the Nazis, This is really about making sure the Black man in the white house fails, no matter what it does to the country! ( Yep Country First) Just a slogan not an ideology!

Well I'm not a corporate shill, but I'd much rather be that than a lobotomized liberal SHRILL. Corporate PROFITS? Sweet Words, essential to all progress. Without corporate profits, which you stupidly think of as swear words, there would be NO UNITED STATES. No profits, NO JOBS PERIOD. No health care for the poor and stupid and undeserving. Profits and lots of profits is the only thing that will pay for the liberal leeches you love. But you want to take away PROFITS and reap the benefits of profits. CANNOT BE DONE.

The town hall problems are simple, not sponsored, not organized, not choreographed, simply spontaneous, because the PEOPLE are PISSED OFF and aren't going to take it anymore.

Obama will fail because he is a marketed infomercial. He has a great delivery but no clue of reality. He and his 'advisers' are lost in their victory. Heretofore they were good at getting elected. Once elected they did nothing but look for a new election. Now they have no idea how to govern except empty promises and lies. This country NEVER ran on lofty ideas, it runs on Dollars and Cents [SENSE] You liberals think money is power, but that is only a side effect of money. Money is the life blood and the heartbeat of this nation. Remove it and the patient is dead. And so are all the parasites sucking at the national teat!

What's wrong with your premise is where corporate money influences politics, it is supposed to be we the people for the people, not we the corporation for the corporation.
How can the average person or persons ever attempted to compete with that kind of leverage, the founding fathers NEVER envisioned this kind of corporate tyranny, by law they were dissolved every 2 years in the time of the founding fathers, and if they were found to not benefit the nation they lost their corporate status. I do not object to corporations making a profit, it is what they are supposed to do, I object to their influence and the sneaky way they convince dumber then Joe the plumber types to vote against their own best interest using ginned up firms to sell snake oil to the public. They should have no say in politics, just as religions should have no say in politics it should be in the best interest of the people not the corporations, not any one religion, no ware in the constitution does it say either should have any influence.

Default I suspect there will be a bill...

that will increase coverage and reduce costs and there MAY be a gov option. People making more than 250k will pay any additional costs. Baboons screaming at each other from spitting distance don't effect legislation. The real players including AARP, Big Pharma, AMA... etc.. are on board. He has the votes, the Republics are irrelevant . The Blue Dogs are likely doing some careful polling right now and will get what they can live with. Given that 96% of seats are safe, I bet Emanual can tell you the vote right now. If you have been surfing talk radio and cable news (or even CSpan) over the last few years you would be used to hearing this kind of nonsense. Obama 3....Opponents 0.. bottom of the 3rd..

"No ware"

Now, "where" would be the right word to use. Typos, human - but, using the wrong words - government worker suspect!

Also, as strange as it may sound, Helen Thomas gave the White House Spokesman a lot of flak recently because of the way the White House was cherry picking the 'random audience'. She didn't seem to like it at all. I wonder what she thinks about this? It would be interesting to see her give the White House some more flak for this instance as well. (not that I actually expect that to happen).

(a few days ago)

During today’s briefing, Thomas interrupted a back-and-forth between Gibbs and Chip Reid, the White House correspondent for CBS News, when Reid was questioning Gibbs about who was going to decide what questions would be asked of President Obama in a townhall meeting that was scheduled to take place in Annandale, Va., today....
Thomas: “I'm amazed. I'm amazed at you people who call for openness and transparency and—”

Gibbs: “Helen, you haven't even heard the questions.”

Reid: “It doesn't matter. It's the process.”

Thomas: “You have left open—”

Reid: “Even if there's a tough question, it's a question coming from somebody who was invited or was screened, or the question was screened.”

Thomas: “It's shocking. It's really shocking.”

Gibbs: “Chip, let's have this discussion at the conclusion of the town hall meeting. How about that?”

Reid: “Okay.”

Gibbs: “I think—“

Thomas: “No, no, no, we're having it now--”

Gibbs: “Well, I'd be happy to have it now.”

Thomas: “It's a pattern.”

Gibbs: “Which question did you object to at the town hall meeting, Helen?”

Thomas: “It's a pattern. It isn't the question—”

Gibbs: “What's a pattern?”

Thomas: “It's a pattern of controlling the press.”

Gibbs: “How so? Is there any evidence currently going on that I'm controlling the press--poorly, I might add.”

Thomas: “Your formal engagements are pre-packaged.”

Gibbs: “How so?”

Reid: “Well, and controlling the public—”

Thomas: “How so? By calling reporters the night before to tell them they're going to be called on. That is shocking.”

And Bush had a Gay male prostitute posing as a reporter, both were obvious,
as soon as she stood up and read from her script it was plain to see.

In 'obummer the idiot's' phony town haul of crap, he said that AARP was on board and he said that the southern Congressperson Isakson wrote the so called death panel part of the bill.

TODAY, AARP said, "We do not support any health care bill now in the House or the Senate."
Isakson said that he never wrote a single word of the bill and had no input at all. obummer retracted his statement and apologized.

And the Pharm Assoc. said as long as they get the DEAL they negotiated with obummer, they are behind his health care bill, but if that deal changes, they are NOT on board. In other words, they proposed a number to buy their support and obummer wrote them an IOU.
This from the guy that wants to correct rumors and MISINFORMATION.

As I have been saying, this administration is completely transparent in their total and absolute corruption.

The Nation is speaking but the anti-American Islamist doesn't hear them.

Being vocal, loud, obnoxious and disrupting meetings does not automatically equate to a group that "represents" the American people. What is

There is a LOT to complain about with the current inherited world financial problems, but there is a far better way to do it. The FBI and local police are investigating a swastika painted on a Congressmans office sign. That is not representative of the majority of American citizens.

"Palin" and "dream" in the same sentence? I think that's only allowed if it's a wet dream...

Our Founding Fathers were fearful of government tyranny, they gave us the Bill of Rights to protect the people from the government, that is certainly valid fear today as we face a government that seems to believes it is answer to issue we face.
Your argument about the Constitution not saying anything about corporate, or religious influence shows the weakness of your position and your ignorance of history. You are trying to make an argument of silence, just because nothing is said does not prove your point. Your trying to make a point from nothing. The constitution is the limitation of Federal government, not the citizens.
In every instance when you mention corporation, you could say government, I much more concerned about the tyranny of government then a corporation.
Who should influence the government? The unemployed and atheist! Most of our Founding Fathers were dedicated Christians, I can give direct quotes if you wish.Geo Washington,John Adams,Samuel Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Rush, John Jay,John Hancock,Patrick Henry,John Witherspoon, to name a few. To think we should not influence policy because we are religious is absurd. Your thinking would fit perfectly in in the old USSR, they didn't want religious influence and the government was the cure all, but oh yea they collapsed, because their system doesn't work and it wont work here either.
Now answer this for me. I have mentioned to you before that I have had health problems and have not been able to work for over a year and a half. I should be able to get disability, I certainly qualify, but the government in all its great compassion has said no, twice. Now you want me to let them have control of my health insurance, why should I trust them to do any better.

Razor, be thankful you got insurance! Many hard working folks who suddenly found themselves with a disability or a serious illness lost their jobs and then their insurance. To me THAT is a fundamental issue of health care reform. Those folks should not be denied insurance based on a pre existing condition,,, perhaps anymore than you should be denied disability.

You obviously have no clue who really controls every aspect of this country! it's not our elected government. As for your premise about our founding fathers, you are wrong and I can prove it. As to your disability, that should be changing for you, if it is social security you are trying to get, the Bush administration was given marching orders to deny claims, just like the insurance companies Ha! Any way they have been given new marching orders,
So they are supposed to be reviewing all those denied claims.
