Just like there's nothing wrong with a good fashion critique from time to time on Club Cobra, no sir, not that there's anything wrong with that.... just sayin'

I truly don't care what the mother wore...the President's wife has an unlimited ability to obtain appropriate clothing and fashion advice when she accompanies the President to official functions.

She's wearing a freeking cocktail dress for crying out loud!

You guys are all raciests, Its a party: dead soldier, loosing the war, socialism, big brother, control of energy, control of health care all that sort of thing. Read the "Rules for Radicals" talks all about it in there. They are both right on track.

The means at what ever cost iare always justified by an elitists' end. Pretty simple.

The First Lady has an UNLIMITED choice of clothing and a staff of advisors. [obviously ignored advisors], the DEAD SOLDIER'S Mother has no such fashion range.

You missed the USED CD's "gift?" And POTUS going down on the Saudi king? Just 2 of an unending list from the obummers.

And Papa Bush puking in the guys lap was an unplanned event. NOT our finest moment, but not planned!

The Queen herself requested that Ipod, by the way. Maybe she a music nut, go figure.

But the REAL issue with the Ipod is copyright law. Can you buy the songs and then give them someone (sharing, if you would) without running afoul of the law? Now THATS a serious issue.

Let me check,,, by golly I am white, when did that happen?

Consider this: With the mother wearing pink that day, in a sea of black, perhaps Mrs. O's choice of clothing was meant to compliments the mother's choice of clothing? A good host will do what needs to be done to make their guests feel comfortable.

What exactly slid by when Bush was President?
Presidents (and anybody else under a 24x7 microscope) will get caught doing stupid stuff. Bush Sr. throwing up in the lap of Japans Prime Minister was unfortunate, but not really anything that indicates poor planning, ignorance, or arrogance.

Bush Jr, on the other hand, has some good ones - Imagine the posts in this forum if Obama did any of this stuff...

Here is one that our own Alien 'Blackwell' Fred can comment on - stylish to misbutton or not?

For this one I admit that making a doormat with the flag on it might not be the best idea, but I also know that I wouldnt step on it if someone did:

But I guess it must be ok to step on the US flag if your wife is dressed appropriately - maybe Alien 'Blackwell' Fred can comment on this as well:

If Obama did this many of you would be screaming about the audacity of someone to sign an American flag:

And another one that ended up on national TV (the next night on Letterman), but never seemed to make the news or this forum. If somebody tried this with me their glasses would end up crushed (oops - ):

There are plenty more, but I tried to keep these sort of fashion related. I find it funny that none of you ever posted any complaint about anything like this that Bush did - yet every little thing that Obama does is cause for national alarm and impeachment.

Steve

Yup...we saw the vast majority of them as they were blasted day and night by CNN and its fellow travelers.

Now that it's our turn.
