Obama's Speeches-- Obama Mentions Self Nearly 1,200 Times!
Obama loves to hear himself talk – about himself. In just 41 speeches so this year, not including this week's big speech at the United Nations, Obama has talked about himself nearly 1,200 times – 1,198 to be exact. (That breaks down to 1,121 “I”s and just 77 "me"s.)
It’s so bad, it’s either humorous or pathetic. Let’s try humorous first. Obama loves himself so much that …
· When he goes to the optometrist, he uses an “I” chart. Bada bing.
· When he got his new iPhone, he thought it was named after him. (If GE made it, the phone might have been named after Obama, after all.)

I bet you know what he wore at every one of those speeches, too.

Here's an excellent article regarding Obama being on TV so much....
Howard Fineman
The Limits of Charisma
http://www.newsweek.com/id/216210
There is, at times, a self-referential (even self-reverential) tone in his big speeches. They are heavily salted with the words "I" and "my." (He used the former 11 times in the first few paragraphs of his address to the U.N. last week.) Obama is a historic figure, but that is the beginning, not the end, of the story.
Snip......

I do wonder what he's out to accomplish with all the TV time. Saying and doing the same thing over and over again when it's out working out seems insane to me. There seems to be a disconnect - he's simply not believable.
The ironic thing is that given his communications skills, his ability to communicate is not even equal to W’s. At least with W, his delivery prompted ‘trust’ e.g. he was saying what he was thinking. Obama appears to have a separate agenda from that he’s not talking about, directly.
Geez, what a huge American nightmare.
