Default Australia (the movie)

This movie proves that the Oscars are BS. Cannot remember the last time I was so rivited by a movie. Maybe Titanic? And on that one, I went in pissed off because I knew the ending. Or so I thought. I do not care (in this case) about historical fidelity. It was epic, emotional, and visually stunning.

Wow.

...

Mike,

It does look good. Full of action, but something my wife would enjoy as well. Thanks for the tip.

Wes,

Its not action in the "Rambo" sense. The best way I can describe it is "epic". And your wife will love it. You will score serious brownie points for this one.

Mike,

You were quite correct. The wife really liked it and she's hard to please. I was on her bad side, but now I am even again.

Had you not mentioned it, I would have missed it since it was hidden on the bottom shelf at my video store. ("Au", last of the "A's".)

It has a touch of "Little House on the Prairie" and a little, "Dances with Wolves" and a story told like was "Titanic" ...but different. It was good. Thanks.

Wes
