Motor Progress
Well after the boondoggle of Miller Precision Machine, poor guy. I think I have George Anderson lined up to do my 427. I plan to haul the pile 'o parts up to him in a couple of weeks. With my kit coming in June that is just about the right timing for him to get my motor done.
Sorry I have been missing all of the club events lately, 3 kids = BUSY! Now Duncan is starting scouting and wants to take karate.

Chuck
Don't feel so bad.
I had to miss last weekends cruises because of soceer games.
And Haines brought out his "original" 427 Cobra !!!
Did anyone every find where Miller went ??
I had him lined up to do my 428.
Now maybe Gessford or Hoosier in Seymour, IN.
He belongs to our group, really sharp.
Did some of the r&d for the new Dodge Hemi that is in production now.
Cheers for now,
Bill Cook

Miller
I guess you knew he lost his business because of a divorce. He called me one day and said "If you don't want your parts locked up for months you'd better come get them", which of course I did. I thought about trying to track him down a couple of times but didn't have the heart. I think he's a sharp guy, it's too bad.
We had soccer games both days too. I think I'll feel more like doing more with the club once I have the car at least here, or better yet running. It seems so far off at this point...

amen brother !!
I feel the same way. Mine has been "in progress" for over two years now.
It is amazing how much finishing anything depends on 12 other things getting done first.
I did purchase a new Lincoln SP135 Plus mig welder this week.
That should keep me busy over the winter.
I attend one of the meetings. Lucky I went. Bummed a ride with Doug Taylor in his outstanding CSX4000. Helped me to decide with stick with the Aldan shocks.
From one solitary builder to another, call if you need any help.
Cheers,
BC

Welder
Hey Bill,
Let me know how you like your welder, looks like it has great specs. I have a SP-100T, it's fine for sheetmetal which is mostly what I bought it for, but I was real disappointed when I went to weld some plates onto my rollbar in the bronco, it won't hack 1/4" stuff very well.
Also if you hear anything about Dennis Miller let me know, I might be looking for a local guy again.
Have fun, Chuck
