Mile Hi Cobra Club Sept Reminders

Sept is a busy month for the Mile Hi Cobra Club. A little something for everyone. Drives, Drag Racing, Open Track, Auto Cross,Shows and even free tickets to the Grande Prix. If you do not see something you want to do and have an idea for an event, please let me know. Also, if I have missed something, let me know.

Aug 29 to 31 - Denver Grande Prix. If you are interested in working this and getting in for free, contact Keith Hall at KEITH_HAL@msn.com

Aug 31st - We will be going to the Bird Cage Cafe in Victor. We will go by way of Deer Creek and Turkey Creek canyons to 285 thru Pine Junction, Deckers, etc to Woodland Park and west to Divide then south on #67 to Victor. After lunch - the return trip is by way of Cripple Creek ( some may want to surrender their hard earned cash) and up to the fossil beds in Florissant for another possible detour. Meet at Aspen Grove Shopping Center (By Starbucks) at 8:30 AM.

Sept 13th - Colorado English Touring Conclave '03. Ride the Rockies tour on Sat. 9/13. Leave from Memorial Park in Arvada (58th and Ammons) at 8:30 AM Cost is $20 per car (Includes the Concalve on (show) on 9/14). If you are interested contact Gary Patrick at GaryBPat1@aol.com.

Sept 14th - Colorado English Touring Conclave '03. Conclave (show) on Sun 9/14. Memorial Park in Arvada (58th and Ammons) at 8:00 AM. See above for cost and who to contact if you are interested.

Sept 20th - Colorado Grande in Vail. Last year we drove up to this and enjoyed the drive as well as the great cars in Vail. If you are interested in doing this again this year, please let me know. I need a volunteer for the this drive. As the volunteer, you will need to plan the drive and find us a place for lunch. Let me know your interest level. thompson660@cs.com
