Default Mile Hi Cobra Club Support the Troops Poker Run

"Support the Troops Poker Run" for Saturday, April 16th, 2005.

This sounds like fun and it will support a good cause. Poker Runs are a lot of fun, but also take a lot of work. So we get to have all the fun and have someone else do all the work.

I am thinking the East Bunch meet at King Soopers at Parker and E470 at about 11:00 and drive down Parker Road to Fountain. The West Bunch meet at the BP Gas Station on Santa Fe and drive Santa Fe to Castle Rock and then down to Fountain. More details to follow on this plan. If you are interested, contact me (thompson660@cs.com) or Tom Toledo (Cobrajet@comcast.net) Let me or Tom know what you think.

Where: Fountain Colorado VFW Post 6461. Santa Fe Ave (I-25 Exit #128) go east and just before the light go Right to the VFW.
When: Saturday April 16. Poker Run starts at 1:00 PM. Ends at the VFW at 6:30 PM.
Cost: $5 per hand. Buy a wild card for a $10 phone card. Dinner and Party after at the VFW is $10 each or $15 per couple. Door prizes for the dinner and auction after the poker run. The will be a live band.

Here is a little information on The Brotherhood of 74 Motorcycle Riders and The Home Front Cares:

The Home Front Cares is a charitable organization that assists service members and their families who have been impacted by expenses from being sent in harm's way. THFC has helped hundreds of Pikes Peak area military families with taking care of unexpected expenses while they protect our freedoms.

The Brotherhood of 74 Motorcycle Riders derive their name from the 74 cubic inch displacement of the Harley motorcycle engine of the 1970s and 80s.
