Hope everyone had a good weekend. We had a great time at the 9News Can Drive with the Corvettes. Will have some pictures soon on the web site (
www.milehicobraclub.com) and you may have even seen us on TV. After we dropped off our cans we all drove up to Isle of Capri in Blackhawk for Brunch. That new road to Central City is a blast and is even more fun when you drive it with 10 or so Cobras and 10 or so Corvettes (and an Austin Healey and Viper or two). The weather was perfect and we really want to thank the Corvette people for organizing this.
This weekend's ideas. Let me know if you are interested in either of these or if you have something else you want to do.
1) Classic Car Show on The Street at Colorado Mills.
Event Dates: Saturday, June 25, 2005
3:00 - 8:00 PM
Location: The Street
Cruise on in to check out these classic car hot rods and listen to your favorite oldies on The Street at Colorado Mills.
Car Show features open registration - cars can begin being parked at 2:00 pm.
This fills up real quick. How about we meet at 1:30 PM somewhere out there? I do not know the area. If you do and if you have an idea, let me know and I will let everyone else know. Then we can all park together (it is hard to save spots) and then have dinner at the Yard House at 5:30 or so. Let me know if you are coming and we will see you then.

I think that Phil Long is going to be a major sponsor of the Mile Hi Cobra Club. Lets show up at their All Ford Day and support them. Would love to have some cars there for the show and you can also try your hand at racing. Fun. And not too expensive. I think you will get a minimum of 3 runs for $30. Of if you just want to show your car it is only $25.
Let me know if you will support this.
