Default Mile Hi Cobra Club Events

I am sitting here wondering if the rain will quit. Today is the Tebo Collection Tour and the Cobra is done (new Rearend, brakes, gas tank and stuff) and we were hoping to drive it today. But it is only 50 degrees and raining. So - looks like the Cobra stays home and will be dry and warm (like it likes) But we are going, so if you check the web site in a few days, you will see some pictures of the Tebo Collection.

Speaking of the web site - check it out - www.milehicobraclub.com

Troy is keeping the Calendar up to date so check on it if you want to know what is going on. OK?

A few new things to think about:

CECA Open Track Road Course Event at Pueblo on Saturday 5/13/06. I have the information that I can send you or call Bill Miller at 303-421-3009 for more details.

Several people have asked if we are going to the new Go Cart track at Centennial. I stopped by last week and it is ready to go. South on Potomac from Arapahoe Road and you will run into it. Got to drive around Centennial Airport some to find it, but keep going. Will get you better directions when it is time to go.
Check it out at www.thetrack.us
$35 for 10 minutes. Looks like fun. Bet you spend more than $35. Is anyone interested? Let me know and also let me know if you want to be the organizer for this.

Shell Valley/Midstates Owners Group - June 2 - 4. Columbus, Neb. This is a lot of fun. Been there and done it. This year there is a big (300 cars) Rod Run going to be the same weekend. Should be even more fun. If you are interested and need more information, contact Ann Dales at 402-246-2355 or 888-246-0900.

RMVR Trans Am Invitational - June 2 - 4 at Pueblo Motorsports Park. The Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing has invited us (MHCC) to attend their vintage racing event. Lots of cool 60's race cars will be there. And be racing head to hear. Numerous GT350s and Corvettes are going to be there - racing head to head (just like the 60's)
Go to www.rmvr.com for more details. RMVR will have space in the paddock for us to park our Cobra's. If you are interested in this, let me know.

And do not forget to check out the link on the site to our "2006 CRUISE COLORADO" Al has a great trip planned and we already have 22 Cobra's signed up. We will spend a couple of nights in Wyoming and then are planning on seeing the Gateway Car Museum (remember the $3.5Million Buick from Barnett Jackson?). Hotels are filling up fast, so make your reservations soon if you are thinking of going.

There are also lots and lots of Car Shows coming up. I will get the information on these to Troy and he can post on the Calendar for you.

The show for May 21 at Colorado Mills is Canceled.

See you soon. I sure hope this rain stops soon - but I know we need it.

Dick
