Default Motorbooks "Wheels & Wings" 9/6

I attended the Motorbooks annual event called "Wheels & Wings" last year for the first time. I really enjoyed it! There were 4 replica's and an original 289 (small showing). The event draws large numbers of club gatherings, (MG's, Mini-Coopers, Ferrari's, Z's, hot rods, get the drift of more specialized interests). I thought it would be a great opportunity to push for a large(r) gathering of our favorite.

Motorbooks has a great location in Osceola, WI. A short, beautiful open country drive (weather permitting) to get there. A nice open grass area, bbq, music, free stuff, cheap book sales and awards.

Closer to the event they publish information on their website: www.motorbooks.com

If others are interested and could post a reply stating they are, perhaps we could get some momentum behind this and get a good showing (and maybe some reserved space in the shade).

Just throwing this out there for anyone interested...

Chris,
I agree it's a great event and I try not to miss it. Even got to sit in Cal Metal's CSX 2189 there a couple of years ago! BTW, are you going to the Midstates event this Spring?

I can't make the Midstates trip this year. Too many family events this spring. Next year may work out.

Chris -

Have you heard of a date for this year? It was ussually the weekend after Labor day. Does the same hold true for this year?

How about the ALL FORD Show at Apple Valley, MN. It would be fun to get a bunch of cobra guys together for that???

Jeff
