Default What do you guys do for insurance/vehicle registration?

I figured this would be the best place to ask this question since alot of states vary on registration.

Anyways, as of now me and the woman are getting married in sept. We have two automobiles each under its own insurance policy from different carriers. When we get married we are going to bring them under one carrier to hopefully get lower rates. We live very close to our work, I drive my vehicle about 300 miles a month. We also own a home.

We have started to look at the CMC 7 http://www.championmotorcars.com and I was wondering what I should do about insurance and vehicle registartion.

edit-it would be a single donor car and the donor would be a miata platform. Not sure if that helps out at all.

AJ,

I went with State Farm for the Insurance. I get the multicar discount and there are no limits on how much I can drive the car.

As far as registration, MN was easy for me. Just make sure to have all your paperwork (MSO, receipts) when you go to the DMV. You may have to have the car inspected before they will title it. During the inspection they are verifying that the serial numbers on the engine, transmission, and chassis match the serial numbers on your receipts. They may also provide a VIN plate. Good luck

Mark
